We needed a new coffee pot for camping trips. This works great! The insulation keeps the coffee hot for longer than we need it to. I like the silicone seal on the plunger. A great size for two people that like a couple cups of coffee each. Very well made and somewhat stylish for a French press!

After cracking two, maybe three Glass insulated French Press, I decided to try an insulated metal press. I purchased a PortableAnd 34oz French Press. Why did it take me so long! PortableAnd is great! No coffee grinds get through the silicone strainer and my coffee stays hot for an hour or so. I get a really great second cup. I LOVE THIS PortableAnd. And I can't break it.

This makes great coffee and enough for a couple of big mugs. It stores nicely since it's not glass. The silicone ring edge on the filter keeps the coffee grounds pretty well contained. It's nice looking and I feel like it will hold up well, traveling in my camper. The only downside is cleaning out the grounds after using it. I would recommend it.

This French Press seems to work fine. I'm not a coffee drinker but my wife like it a lot. She says it keeps her coffee hot for a couple of hours. Reduced the stars as when she received it she thought it was broken. The plunger was loose so she couldn't pull the filter out and she was going to send it back - but showed it to me first. I separated the the plunger from the lid and screwed it into the filter. Pulled the filter out (very tight) and gasket was mis-installed. Fixed the gasket, refit the plunger through the lid and screwed the filter back on. Works great now.

Looks as pictured and substantial. I've broken a few of the glass type, so I'll try metal. I find the 34 oz. size gives me 2 large mugs of coffee for my day. Just enough. The medical research shows that 2-4 cups are beneficial, but more are harmful.

Use it everyday and keeps my tea hot for a 15 minute steep time with very little product passing through the screen, cleans easy and would buy again in a hot second.
