Finally, Darkness and Sanity Restored
As a loyal member of the Nightly Darth Vader Cosplay Society (a.k.a. CPAP users), I take my bedtime gear seriously. On our month-long getaway, we discovered the charming little rental came with a not-so-charming feature: skylights with no shades. Imagine trying to sleep under a Broadway spotlight while wearing a plastic elephant trunk on your face.My first attempt involved a cheap fabric eye mask. Spoiler: it was like trying to hold a tissue on your face with duct tape while wrestling an octopus. The CPAP mask shoved it up, sideways, and sometimes completely off. By 3 a.m., I looked less like a peaceful sleeper and more like a sleep-deprived raccoon. Then came THESE magical blackout wonders. They fit perfectly around the CPAP mask, stayed in place all night, and plunged me into blissful darkness. No slipping, no gaps, no accidental one-eyed pirate cosplay. Just me, my CPAP, and sweet, sweet unconsciousness.Bottom line: If you wear a CPAP and want to sleep without auditioning for Phantom of the Opera, buy these. Your dreams (and your sanity) will thank you.⸻Customer Q&AQ: Will these block out the sound of my spouse snoring like a chainsaw?A: Only if you also buy the optional accessory: a separate bedroom.Q: Can I use these without a CPAP?A: Yes, but you’ll miss out on the joy of looking like a fighter pilot entering hyperspace.Q: Do they also work during unexpected alien abductions through skylights?A: Absolutely. The aliens won’t see you, but they may complain about the lack of eye contact.

It seems to help with dry eye
I always use a sleep mask, but I have problems with dry eye that seem to be getting worse. Drops alone didn’t help. My optometrist said my eyelids open just enough at night for my eyes to dry out. This mask seems to be helping if I put eyedrops in first. When I take it off, there’s moisture droplets in there. It completely blocks out light. I don’t know how well this would work for side sleepers. I tend to stay on my back. I took off a star for comfort. The silicone is soft and feels nice against my skin. But, it has to be on pretty tight to make a good seal. It irritates the sides of my nose, where my glasses sit. It also leaves a big mark across the bridge of my nose, where the connecting piece is. The strap placement is a little odd for me. To get the mask positioned over my eyes properly, the strap digs into the top of my ear a bit. I usually end up twisting the strap over each ear so that the edge isn’t riding there, but that makes it looser. I probably will end up switching out the strap somehow. Not a huge deal, but for the price, I didn’t think I would have to do any MacGyvering.

The first sleep mask for my dry eyes that actually works.
I honestly want to cry. I’ve been dealing with dry eyes for about 1.5 years. The mornings have always been the worst time for my symptoms. I was told I sleep with my eyelids slightly open, which dries out my eyes.I literally tried every method and eye mask to help prevent those horrible morning symptoms (extreme dryness, burning, discomfort, etc.) including the Glad Press N Seal technique, TranquilEyes and the BlinkJoy Eye mask for examples.I am a side sleeper and none of these methods worked or felt comfortable. I would rip them off in my sleep. This MyHalos eye mask is the first one I’ve actually found comfortable and effective. The relief I feel is actually astounding. It doesn’t completely erase my symptoms but it dramatically improves them and for that, I am so immensely thankful. I wake up with little beads of moisture in the mask. For added effectiveness, I spray the inside of the mask with water before sleeping, along with my Ivizia nighttime eye gel.Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating this. I’m tempted to buy 10 of them so I can have them for the rest of my life. Please continue to always make these. They have already improved my sleep quality and quality of life within a few nights.

Very uncomfortable
I use a CPAP and I’m a side sleeper with extremely dry eyes. I read that a sleep mask would help by keeping the air out of my eyes. I choose this mask because it said it was silicone and very soft and perfect for side sleepers. Some of the traditional sleep masks cover too much of your face to enable to use with a CPAP mask. I wore the mask for 3 days before giving up. Laying on my back was a little more comfortable but that is not the way I sleep so I was awake more than I slept. Laying on my side it was very uncomfortable so I kept waking up in pain. The concept and size were good, but material needs to be much softer. A waste of my money. Not as advertised.

keeps the light out but leaves marks under eyes from pressure
What I liked:They kept the light out and they didn't put pressure on my eyeballs (I could open my eyes while wearing them)What I didn't like:When I woke up, there were unsightly marks under my eyes from the pressure of wearing these goggles all night...someone might say "Well, maybe you adjusted the head band too tightly" and that was not the case. The goggles create a light suction around your eyes and leave marks. I wish I would have tried these earlier so that I could return them.

Dark out glasses work great
They are great for keeping light out! Do try for yourself if you’re having problems with too much light for sleeping! They are very comfortable and durable.
