Perfect Solution for large Kitchen Skylight
This product is fantastic. Covers my big kitchen skylight perfectly but we can still see the sky. Really cuts down on the heat, and for Southern California that can be intense. Plus cooking and oven heat got intense as well. Easy to install and customer service was a tad slow but came through very well when we advised that one of the items was missing from the package. It's a perfect solution for summer and we can remove it during winter. Big plus!

Easy installation and keeps the loft cool.
This skylight cover made our loft much cooler while still letting in light. You might think that it will block all the light but it is somewhat transparent.

Not everything you need, as advertised. Air flow spacers not included.
Ordered 3 x 6 foot shade for skylight. Skylight size is 2 x 4 feet, and I barely had enough fasteners, spaced 5" apart as recommended. Listing states "everything you need," but when you read the instructions on website, it states "air flow spacers" are necessary to prevent damage to plastic skylights. Air flow spacers are sold separately on the website. So, NOT "everything you need," which is false advertising.

Fantastic shade for the skylight. It has cut the house temperature by 10 degrees. It was easy to install. Very much worth the money!!

They work
Each summer my 2 x 4-foot skylight acts like a magnifying glass under the hot sun. But so far the EZ-SNAP Skylight Sun Shade has made it tolerable to stay in the room and helped keep the whole house cooler.Except the brief time the sun is directly overhead, we can stay in the room without getting grilled.One trade-off was getting the black fabric. I picked it so we can still watch planes and birds flying overhead. But white might have been a better choice, since black tends to absorb heat and light. But they tend to bounce off white.
