Despite having the poor Chinese quality and the I'll fitting lid. It's design made up for it. Big enough to take the whole pack without touching the lid. Self contained easy to take ones needs and one can put the lid down without leaving butter on the counter top. Best of all a lid knob you can get hold of.

Lovely large butter dish
Can't think of anything to say in a negative way at all. Love Portmerion and so does my daughterinlaw now, it was a gift for her after she admired my butter dish. It has a large capacity and a full block (250g) of butter fits nicely into it. Plus it is excellent quality!

Stylish and Clean looking
Lovely butter dish, very sleek and stylish design. Looks great with other white or cream accessories. A good size, not too big and fits a whole or half a block of butter in nicely. And more eco friendly as you're not buying plastic tubs!

Pretty dish, but lid doesn't fit perfectly so let's see how long the butter lasts! Maybe form over function... we'll see.At least it first a whole block of butter in, u like a previous one I purchased from amazon!
