I'm very impressed with this tripod, I've tried it with a Canon 6D and 100-400mm zoom and I love it. The ball head is surprisingly smooth, and the tripod is tall enough for me to stand up normally and use it. At 1.5kg it weighs half of my ancient Velbon aluminium tripod but it's a bit taller and much more compact when folded down. The only product improvement I could propose is the bag which looks nice, but is too tight and the draw string is guaranteed to break one day. But that's a very minor problem...

good item which I used in NYC & Venice - very easy to carry but not as sturdy as manfrotto. Need to put weighted bag underneath on clip if using in windy conditions

Wanted a tripod that folds small and Zomei Z669C fits the bill. Its a Carbon tripod can convert to monopod.With A99 and a heavy lens, have to open legs wider to feel firm.

I added a video style pan and tilt head which works well with the tripod. Its fine for DSLR use but needs care if being used with video because of its relatively light weight. It includes a central column hook to add weight for video but I've found it slightly wobbly when fully extended or using longer lenses. Its still great value as a carbon fibre unit and packs down pretty small into the bag.

Great tripod very light and easy to use.

Very disappointed, the glue holding the head to the central column failed and the head came off, quality control problem, shame really, it would have been perfect other wise.
