Will they populate containers in same tent?** A: The card is divided into 5 strips and what I did was put a paperclip opened out into a double ended hook through the hole in each strip and moved the location of the strip every day or so to distribute the hatching larvae. The eggs hatch out into the crawling larvae version which is the stage that eats aphids etc these can not easily move from one plant to another unless they are touching. Once the larvae transition to the flying stage they will populate the area. But seems for your purposes just moving the strips around a bit from plant to plant every few days would be the best bet. **Q: Is it OK to order/ship lacewing eggs during cold weather months?** A: I live in Utah.
