Works as it should.
These work as they should on laptops, desktops and phones. Works with Windows, Linux and Android so far. I don't have access to Mac.

Makes my new laptop more versatile
My new laptop didn't have enough USB-A ports. While I appreciate the advantages of the USB-C ports, most of the connections I use are still USB-A. So I bought this and it works great. It also has an adapter that can go the other way, so if you want switch one of your USB-A ports to a USB-C you can do that with this kit as well.

Just what I needed...
This is my second purchase of these adapters. I accidentally lost my other set while traveling. I didn't hesitate to order them again. They are a necessity with this whole USBa/USBc transition... when charge cords and charge blocks have different connections. On a side note: UGREEN seems to have some good affordable products, in my limited experience...
