Superior fragrance!
I use this instead of conditioner after shampoo and towels dry. I have fine hair so only need a single drop but have given it to my friends with coarse and curly hair and they use about four drops after towel drying and their hair dries like silk! I give it as gifts and everyone appreciates it and cannot be without it now. One bottle lasts many many months and worth every penny!

Hair feels heavy/greasy
The media could not be loaded. I’ll give it props for making your hair smooth. It says to use on damp hair and on dry hair “when needed”. Here are my observations:Using it on towel dried hair and letting it air dry results in non-damages hair looking oily/greasy. Funny part is, I mainly focused on my ends because I’ve got an old perm.Upon seeing how greasy my non-permed hair looked after putting this on it and letting it air dry, I used the hair dryer to see if it would help. It helped some, but my hair still feels heavy. I wouldn’t say it meets its claim of thicker hair after just one use.The scent is light and a non-issue.I tried adding some more on my blow dried hair and it leaves it a little greasy looking but nowhere near as bad as towel then air dried hair.If you’re into the “wet look” for your hair, you may like this. If you’re not, only use it on damp hair and only on the damaged/chemically treated portion of your hair.

Great stand in for salon brands
I feel like I've tried so many different salon brands for my hair, and I'll admit, that while I try to buy products that are correct for my hair type (fine textured, but lots of it), I ultimately won't buy them unless they smell good. I have to say, this Dr. Groot repair serum is a virtual doppelgänger for a salon brand known for awapui ginger scents. It smells divine! I have long (below shoulder length), fine textured hair, but a lot of it, and my hair is prone to frizziness and fly aways. I have been using 1 to 2 pumps of this, concentrating on the ends and mid shafts, then quickly patting any leftovers from my hands over my root area to soothe fly aways. For me, this has worked wonders, and it has been helpful in taming my hair while it air dries. As I only use 1-2 pumps at a time, this bottle will last for a long time. Happily, I find this doesn't flatten my hair the way the salon brand (awapui diner) did, so I think it is more versatile for different textured hair. Overall, I love it and highly recommend it. It keeps my hair smooth and detangled.

Softens my hair
This has a very clean fresh scent. It softens up my normally (and naturally dry hair) Just a little bit though, I find that too much and it gets a bit tacky. The price is good if you use just the tiny bit you need. It combs through (again with just a tiny amount) and leaves behind soft-to-the-touch hair. I used it on wet hair but I haven't tried it on dry hair yet, when wet this stuff does a marvelous job

did not work with my hair
These products made my hair feel heavy and dirty. I was hopeful they were going to be really good but I’m disappointed and the return policy is useless. Shouldn’t have tried a product without a guarantee I guess.

Leaves Hair Soft & Manageable
I like this serum! I find that it cuts down on drying time for my hair & leaves my hair soft & manageable. I could even get away with not styling my hair when I use this product if I am feeling lazy. I find that it cuts down on frizz and smooths my hair’s cuticles. I only use a little squirt & spread it through the ends of my hair - I never use it near the roots. With this amount and application method, I have not experienced any stickiness from using this product.

Good For Dry & Damaged Hair
Though my hair is not dry or damaged, I have very thin and fine hair that needs that extra bit of attention to keep it in good shape. There's also a little bit of length to my hair which can get damaged if I'm not careful. This is where this hair serum comes in handy. It's a thick clear serum that I find easiest to work into my hair by pumping a little into the palm of my hand and then massaging it around a few times. Then take my hands and massage the serum into my hair. The serum feels really oily at that point, yet still kind of thick. A little less so than honey. Not sticky though. Because I need to be careful with making sure that I do not add too much, I usually only apply this to the ends of my hair. If my scalp is feeling a bit itchy, I might dab a tiny bit on that spot, but not much at all. The main reason that I cannot use too much is because my hair and scalp can get oily way too fast when I use such hair products. A tiny bit will do what I need it to do, but if I apply too much, I'll need to wash my hair well before it's normally time to do so.One thing that I noticed is that when first applied, it will make my hair look and feel too oily. Give it maybe a good 15-30 minutes and whatever it is that gives it that look with fully absorb and everything is okay. It's like the oil dries up. I'm sure that it's just the hair absorbing those good things to help nourish and repair my hair. With that said, because I can only handle so much of this at one time, I do limit my use to only a tiny bit along the ends or wherever I might need the extra help. Even with that little bit, it does good things for conditioning my hair.Unlike some of the others, I actually like the scent. Yes, you will definitely smell this when you use this. But not to worry because that scent will not stay with you. You'll only smell it during application. All in all, this does good things for the health and condition of my hair providing that I use this in moderation.
