These boots have a panted leather look, they have a high shine, and they do squeak a tiny bit. You probably will have to loosen the laces to get them on right, the sole isnt padded all that great and the heal is a little challenging. But they are good looking solid boots that arent meant for everyday wear.Recommended for occasional wear.

My daughter was absolutely stoked when these arrived. She immediately put them on & started parading around the house. She's hoping I'll give them to her soon, but I'm not sure how quickly I want her to risk breaking an ankle in them. They're kind of high, but the heel is chunky, so she at least has more balance help than she would with a thin heel. She thought they were comfortable in the few minutes she had them on, though I guess only time will tell how comfortable they'll be for walking longer distances. These are a black patent leather--expectedly squeaky/creaky at times, and they really did look super cute on her. She loved that they made her feet look tiny (though she already has small feet, sooo.....). As far as she is concerned, these are definitely recommended!

Let me start with I am a size 7.5 in women's shoes. I ordered an 8 because usually with any type of boot for me you need that extra half or size for a better fit.Lets start with looks, These look very nice in person. They are shiny and The bronze looking gold looks good on the black. The zipper on the side and the laces in the front give it a nice image for whatever look you're going for. 5* for looks.As far as the fit goes, well the left shoe fit just fine, however the right shoe was kind of tight. At first I was thinking it was just my feet but upon further investigation, it turns out the quality is different between the 2 shoes. These have no width to them, if you need a wide shoe?, these are not for you. They're pretty tight around the ankle, and foot. 3*Going back to quality, poor quality in my opinion for the price that is listed. I included pictures for the comparison between the left and the right shoe. You can see that some of the stitching is different. This could very well be why one shoe is tighter than the other, which means they're not practical. In the description it does say they are "man made". I also included some differences in the leather quality from one shoe to the other. These are, yes, small things that you wouldn't notice unless you're really looking, BUT again for the price this should be nearly perfect and not affect the actual function which this does. 2*Overall I feel like for the price these are not worth it. You are literally just paying for a brand which these days is what you're doing when you buy anything that is, well just a brand. These might get worn twice a year. The combat boot style still is very cute however, I wouldn't but these again or recommend them for that price.

These have me new-boot-goofin'. The design is so bougie. The size is just right. They are comfortable even with the sizable heel. I can run in them, great ankle support, you hardly notice the heel. I don't know anything about luxury brands and I've never had a lot of money to spend on clothes, so I did think these were a really great deal when I first saw them. Then I found out that GUESS isn't really considered a luxury brand, but then I found out that these were still a really great deal anyway because they are comfortable and durable. I like to dress a little goth but I have to tone it down for work. These hit that style mark for me by matching both brown and black outfits and looking slightly witchy/slightly just classy and bougie. Now that I know that GUESS makes durable, comfortable bougie looking stuff, they might have a fan out of me.

Very stylish boot. I love the material and shin of the boot. It fit perfectly. I love the placements of the Guess logo.
