Great mounting for my shovel and axe!
For camping I always bring a small shovel and axe but wanted to keep them out of the way. These mounts did just that. Mounted them to the bottoms of my rack and it keeps the tools secure and out of the way. The Arizona sun is starting to fade the red paint but the rubber is holding up great. Would buy again for future projects!

Does not instill confidence
During my first attempt to use it, tried to wrap it around a Fiskers T-handle shovel to check out how these work. I haven’t even installed the mounts onto anything yet. Immediately, before there is any real tension on the rubber, the band snaps off the mount.I wouldn’t trust these anywhere on the outside of a vehicle where, if these broke, your tool would fall out. These are light duty holders at best. These would be great for holding a broom inside a van or garage and that’s about it.

Quick and easy
was looking at several options. Looks great and easy to install. Not sure how to add a padlock. Would be helpful if there was an option for it.

Strong, Versatile Straps
The media could not be loaded. These straps are good quality and substantial weight. Nothing feels cheap. The coating should last a long time if they’re installed outdoors. Some thinner tools will not be as tight as thicker handled tools (wooden rake vs. axe handle), but they can still be secured well. The straps come with nuts and bolts, but they could be installed into wood with deck screws if needed. Value for the money is about $4-5 a piece for me, as they work great and keep tools handy and secure.

Heavy duty and well made
I have been trying to find a good way to haul a shovel and pry bar around when I am out on the tractor. When I saw these, I thought I would try them and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The body is very sturdy and the latches work smoothly. They provide a very secure hold. I temporarily mounted these on my ROPS to see if I like it there before doing something more permanent.

Other sellers include rubber grip pads
I'm not too impressed with how my shovel wobbles around with the bumps. I now see other sellers include rubber grip pads. I think you should also have a source for these pads, but it's looking like I'll have to make my own.
