I bought this for the Mister, who has mobility issues and needs to sit down to shower. We have owned several medical grade "bariatric" shower chairs, and I was tired of the seat cracking, feet rusting or the bolts falling off after a year.It is heavier than most chairs, so it seems plenty sturdy. My tub is regular sized, and it fits just fine. Assembly was really easy...comes with its own allen wrenches and there aren't that many pieces to attach. The instructions were stuck together, and I couldn't find them until after the fact, which means I managed to put it together without them LOL.While it's better looking than the medical grade shower seats (the ones with the hospital vibe), it's likely not something you would want anywhere else than your bathroom. It's made from heavy duty plastic and has a faux wood grain, mine is gray.The one thing I do find odd about it is that the seat isn't all one piece. The handles attach separately, and they don't line up flush with the seat when you bolt them on. It hasn't been a problem, i.e. no pinching, but it is peculiar that it is not just one solid piece. A month or two in, and so far, it's been great.

Putting it together was easy. It fit perfectly in my shower and supported my weight. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Good quality, appearance and easy assemble and cleaning. Ideal , specially for 60+ . It also serves as a safety place to sit if encountering any medical problem in the shower because it adheres perfectly to the floor.

The bench wasn’t too bad to put together but it didn’t align right for a smooth surface connection. Instructions were generic but it did come with at least two extra screws of each size. It is definitely very sturdy once assembled, a little taller than a shower seat with metal legs that medical supply or drug stores have. The shower holder on both sides are really nice.

I've had this now a couple of months. Good and sturdy and doesn't fade or stain. Followed the instructions putting together and kept all the feedback in mind which made it easy (can be a bit fiddly if you don't read and rush it). But overall I heartily recommend this.

I have 2 of these in my showers. Only complaint is the shiny screws stand out

We are very happy with this shower stool. I love the look of teak but worried that it might start looking bad within the year. Given how good our plywood lawn furniture looks, I decided to give a this alternative to wood a try. It looks wonderful in our new shower and definitely mimics the look of teak quite convincingly. We chose this particular model because it has stainless steel screws. We didn’t want rust to become an issue. Couldn’t have been happier with our choice.

The pieces don’t exactly align. Something this expensive should fit together better.
