A lovely reproduction, faithful to the original

Anyone over about the age of 40 will remember these as a staple for bed time reading. Now I have a granddaughter (4 yrs old) who loves her 'tablet' and all things digital however, we have now got her to sit still for a few minutes and enjoy these classic books. A beautiful sight to see her so engrossed with her nana and pops.

Takes me back to my childhood! Which is the best dress though? The pink, the blue or the gold? (The pink)

I bought this as a gift for my mum who briefly mentioned it was her favorite childhood book and her wedding dress was inspired by Cinderellas dress! So I thought it would be a good idea to get for a small gift for Christmas. She mentioned the blue cover and I was worried it would come without the sleeve but it was perfect! Great quality and exactly as described. Couldn’t be happier and I hope my mum enjoys getting reunited with her favourite childhood book:)

My favourite Ladybird book as a child, so I was thrilled to rediscover it. Just wish that the saturation of the pictures had been dialled up a bit as they are a bit lacking in colour.

Took me back to my childhood

I always loved the illustrations of this version which I had when I was a child. I wish I hadn’t given all my ladybird books away! I couldn’t resist buying this when I saw it.
