I have a bunch of thumb drives that I use to move data from my pc to my portable devices. While I have a port extender, it is tough to reach and the Samsung and Sandisk Fit style drives are difficult to remove since they are aligned parallel on the wide sides. This hub is just over 4" wide and allows easy access to even the small thumb drives. The cable is 24" long and is just the right length for my applicatioin. As noted in the instructions, this device does get warm when fully loaded so it would be a good idea to put it in a location that allows it to "breath". There is a blue led power led, but it is exceedingly small and not very bright. There is a usb-c power port on the end which may be needed when external hard drive or other power hungry devices are plugged in, Great price for a solid product.

Works well, and by a name brand company. I bought this to replace or supplement two other very old hubs I have. It is faster than the old ones (although, to be honest, my computers are old enough that it probably makes little difference). It plugs in firmly, and this is important to me as one of the old ones sometimes requires plugging in more than once before it makes good contact. All in all, this hub is quite adequate.

Simple, cheap 4-port USB A hub. It just works, and that's all I need. Only needs power (via the USB C port) if you're plugging in a HDD or other power-hungry peripheral.

Had a need for more ports earlier on but put off getting an extender. Finally gave in when I had to disconnect my mouse and external keyboard just to get something done. Plugged in my wireless keyboard USB connector and it worked great. Did the same with my mouse and while it worked, it started to lag after a while. It takes to USB Flash Drives really well without issue. The only issue was connecting my external hard drive (a small, portable one from the early 2010s). Other than that, it's been great for creating extra ports.

Works as expected for multiple USB plugs. My laptop has only 2 USB ports. This allows me to use my wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, back up storage drive, and still have some open ports.

Perfect addition to your desktop or laptop especially considering that there are fewer and fewer usb ports on devices anymore. Priced right and works great!

I purchased 2 of these for use during a convention and they worked flawlessly. Been using Acer gear for decades and this is the reason why. Nice hubs.
