This is a brilliant piece of kit. It arrived today and it plugs into and connects seamlessly with my MacBook, iPad and Iphone via the USB C connection. Access the contents of the USB device via the FILES folder / icon on the devices and hey presto - works so well. So easy to copy and paste items into the folder or create and populate folders. Very pleased with purchase.

Super-quick write: minimum of 230MB/sec. Feels well made, weighty and solid. Definitely bigger than some, but excellent value for money. Also very handy having both USB-A and USB-C interfaces on it. Finally, it comes in packaging that can be resealed, which is useful for putting files on it before giving it as a gift! Very happy with this purchase.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I couldn't recommend more! It's very durable, the case is very good and the ring is secure and hasn't bent yet, it connects to my laptop and phone and PC very easily, never had a problem with connectivity, the USB-A or USB-C, it's a good size, it fits in the palm of your hand, I think it's it good value for money as well, I love it and use it everyday, the only thing that's wrong is it gets warm when you use it, but it's not a problem for me.

Great portable SSD, lightning fast read/write speeds, perfect for what I bought it for. I’m a professional graphic designer so as you can imagine, files get large. I made the mistake of buying the lower storage capacity version of the M3 MacBook Air when I upgraded, so I had to the point where I was constantly having to clear what I can to free space. This SSD is a solid option, it’s sturdy, fast, well built and really small, comes with a leather pouch keyring as well so you can take it out and about with you which is a nice bonus and has come in handy. Knocking off a star because of one reason: the USB-C end is slightly flimsy and does have a bit of wobble, meaning it moves around in my MacBook usb c port, so it worries me at times when I have my laptop resting on my lap on on a surface. - hasn’t posed a problem for me yet but worth noting and I would’ve liked a bit more security. Other than that, definitely recommend this product.

I've used h2testw to check the drive I received against the marketing claims. Obviously, you may get a different drive. As I bought the drive to do large backups quickly and easily the capacity and speed are quite important. So first with the marketing claims: Digital storage capacity 2 TB Ultra Fast Transfer Speed: SSK USB 3.2 Gen 2 Solid State SSD drive up to 550mb/s read speed and 500mb/s write speed (Please Note: If connected to a USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 Gen1 interface, the transfer speed will be limited up to 450MB/s.) During the transmission and the use of capacity, Ultra dual flash drive still maintain high-speed transmission. Now on with the results of testing: Digital storage capacity 2,000,381,018,112 bytes available to user when formatted to exFAT (the default). Pedants aside, that's 2TB to the nearest terabyte. USB 3.2 write speed started off at just under 300 MB/s, and the average speed steadily dropped. After 20 minutes the average speed was down to around 200 MB/s. By the time the drive was full the average write speed was under 97 MB/s :( USB 3.2 Read speed fared better, starting at 360 MB/s and achieving 359 MB/s on average by the time the whole drive had been read. Conclusions: The capacity is as advertised The write speed is considerably slower than advertised and then steadily declines from 300MB/s to below 97 MB/s The read speed, while considerably slower than advertised, is MUCH more consistent at around 360 MB/s The claimed speeds of 500/550 MB/s or even 450 MB/s if used on an older USB3.0/1 port are beyond optimistic. To get 500MB/s or more transfer speeds you'll need to look elsewhere - and adjust your budget upwards.

Funciona muy bien, irreal que en ese tamaño le quepan los 2TB y la capacidad es real, ya le metí 1.4 terabites y sin problema, es rápido, solo que depende que tu computadora tenga los puertos nuevos y más rápidos para que funcione al 100%, en mi caso transfirió bastante bien 300 gigas a una tasa de 150mb/s pero mi compu ya es vieja, después de los 300 gigas si mermó mucho la velocidad por que se calienta bastante, pero funciona muy bien. Es muy robusto, se siente pesado pero no es grande. Excelente precio lo compré en $2,600 pesos, y está excelente. Que traiga las dos salidas integradas usb a y usb c, está increíble súper versátil y actual.

Ein kleines Highlight ist die mitgelieferte Ledertasche – macht das Ganze nicht nur schicker, sondern schützt die SSD auch unterwegs. Für alle, die eine flotte, stylische und zuverlässige externe SSD suchen: Das Ding macht genau das, was es soll – und das richtig gut.
