## Description

MAX EPC A/B is a room-temperature cured epoxy-based electronic potting compound designed for large mass potting or encapsulation of printed circuit boards & circuits.MAX EPC A/B is designed to cure slowly for potting large volumes, up to 44 fluid ounces or 1.3 liters. The exothermic heat produced is insufficient to produce a "runaway" reaction during cure. MAX EPC is filled with thermally conductive fillers that wick heat away and allow for faster cooling.MAX EPC A/B is mixed 4:1 by weight; it provides a 90-minute working time for volumes of 3 cubic inches & up to 45 minutes for larger mass - up to 6 cubic inches.Its mixed viscosity is 3100 cPs at 25°C, similar to the consistency of syrup or honey. It is poured into place, self-leveling, and designed to release air bubbles and cure void-free.Upon cure, MAX EPC is electrically non-conductive and provides a permanent barrier against air, corrosive environments, moisture, and direct contact with the circuitry. **Q: Is it flammable? Can it be send by airplane?**
A: MAX EPC is 100% solids and does not contain any flammable solvents. It is practically odor-free and it is considered as a GRAS material or Generally Recognized As Safe. It is packaged for commercial air cargo however it may be restricted for commercial passenger-carrying aircraft. Thanks.

**Q: Indentation hardness 78.00, is this shore 00, a, or d ?**
A: The durometer hardness is Shore D Scale.

**Q: does it smell?**
A: Yes ......it has a funny smell, not how epoxy usually smells .....but it isn't too strong, its just a little unpleasant at first because its so different, kinda more sweet smelling than chemical, but its not terrible and not like fumes. It takes a long time to cure...... minimum 24 hrs, and Youll need a scale for sure otherwise you cant get the mix right just guessing.

It is one of the worst products I procured online.Even after mixing in the proper ratio, it's not drying. I have mixed both parts A & B, and today is the 3rd day. Yet the mixer is fluidy in nature.
