You get what you pay for! Very heavy duty!
This wrench is the best you can get. Don't go out and buy a rinky dink wrench and expect it to last. Rigid lasts everytime.

USA made, quality tool
Decided to upgrade my pipe wrenches, used cheap wrenches for twenty years and was never impressed with the overall ease of adjustment or the performance. I don’t use a pipe wrench daily but as become older I have no tolerance for tools that do not perform as intended, The extra cost of a well made tool pays for itself in not only reducing my overall irritation I also get much better results on the finished project. The Ridgid pipe wrenches are worth the extra money paid, very nice adjustment with a good bite that does not slip, very impressive tool and a good overall investment.

Heavy duty and well made wrench
Provided the right leverage to get the job done. I expected to need two people on two 24 inch wrenches to loosen the pipe, but it took 10 seconds to do the job myself. This Ridgid wrench was very well made, and I expect it to last for many years. It was also an excellent value.

Pipe Wrench
Just for plumbers, right? Absolutely not, way too useful not to have around and I'm willing to bet if yous were to purchase one, mine start at 18", and get bigger, you would agree with me. When nothing else will budge a nut, the trailer ball is stuck or my wife's cookie dough extruder thingy that was cross threaded, with a strap wrench, with the admonition that I might break it, untreaded intact. To locks, hockey puck locks come off hasp and all. 18" in my EDC bag, 24" in the truck.

Made in the USA!
There are a vast number of pipe wrench manufacturers out there but only One 'RIDGID' !!! I've been using Ridgid pipe wrenches for over 35 years and have never had one complaint. I still have pipe wrenches in use that were my Grandfathers'. This tool is built to withstand the tests and trials of everyday use, unlike the Chinese, Mexican, etc. competition!!! If you want a durable tool that won't tick you off when you need it the most then spend the little extra money and buy the Ridgid. You'll be glad you did!
