Beware buying this product for a couple of reasons:1) pictures aren’t even close to reality as just a bunch of chunks and very little tentacles. If you are looking for a nice plating, good luck. Half of the pieces were just falling apart.2) I think both this purchase and the baby octopus from same company were spoiled. Despite being marinated in sunflower oil, I believe natural fermentation started as there was a strong sour taste to both. Couldn’t eat it.

I was a little concerned about ordering expensive seafood in glass jars but it was for nothing. The jars come in their own little boxes, which protects them very well against breakage. The contents are clean and look very appealing to me. I'm making kimchi and thought these would be good addition in the recipe. Hope it turns out well. Haven't tasted them yet but coming from Italy, I'm sure they will be quite delicious.

It's something different compared to shrimp, salmon or crab it's a whole different experience on its own. I had never tried octopus before and thought it'd be cool to try some canned octopus due to a lack of any in restaurants. I received my package on a hot afternoon but didn't think it'd have much affect on the product due to its sealed contents but it still had a somewhat stingy taste. I left it to refrigerate overnight and it still has that sting so I'll chalk it up to the taste of sunflower oil. It was a pleasant new experience but I wished it had a better taste.

I found these to be just okay,not quite what I expected. They have a very strong vinegar taste. Others may like them but I won't be ordering again.

Low quality the mixture in which it is in lowers the quality The octopus and squid texture, even after rinsing it taste flat. Not ferm at all.

Excellent flavor and very tender, not at all fishy. Great "meze" salad topper with crostini.

For the money spent on this, I expected better quality. The octopus was breaking apart and the liquid cloudy. Definitely not a clean appearance like in the picture.

The octopus meat were falling apart and the smell and taste was not pleasant at all.
