MCs: Isaiah and KennedyOkay now, where do I start? I am totally OBSSESSED with this book (if you know, you know). From the very start of this book I just knew I was going to love it. Actually scratch that, before I even started this book, I knew; because each and every book in this series has left an imprint on my heart. I had really high expectations from this book and oh boy, did it live up to them. Play Along, joins Mile High as my top favourite and ties as my number 1 book this year. I have so enjoyed this book and my emotions were all over the place. One minute I was laughing and smiling, the next minute I was crying. Wow!I started making note of how I felt while reading the book. Especially when it made me cry. Chapter 19, the way Kennedy looks after Isaiah, that made me cry and crave for what they had. And at this point, she hasn’t even realised what she feels for him.And chapter 21, this made me sob. Seeing the connection between Isaiah and Kai, the bond they share and even after finding their special person, they have not let that take away from their bond. When Kai addresses Isaiah at the end of his speech, I just fell even more in love with their bond and it was so beautiful to see Kai show that, despite having Max and Miller, Isaiah will always be a priority to him and he was always look out for him.I lost count on the amount of times this book made me cry. It was such a special book.We were only introduced to Isaiah in book 3 of the series, but we didn’t truly get to know him until this book. And no, not just because he in the MC in this book, but because there was so much more to him than what he portrays in front of other people. He is a pure soul and an amazing human. It felt as it he was a real person and I could feel everything he was feeling. If you love someone, love them like Isaiah loves his dear ones. Not just Kennedy, his brother, his nephew, his friends, everyone.As for Kennedy, I fell in love with her as I watched Isaiah falling even more deeply in love with her;and the more the layers were peeled back and we got a glimpse of the true Kennedy. Kennedy’s mother, I’m sorry but she needs to be thrown into a bin. In fact she should not even be called a mother; how can one treat anyone they way she treated Kennedy, let alone their own daughter. And although, I hate Dean for how he treated Isaiah, I loved that he was always there for Kennedy, even when her own mother wasn’t.This book made me so emotional, it made me smile, laugh, cry and angry. It was such a special book. I cannot wait to read this whole series again ahead of book 5 in April next year. So excited for it!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, PICK UP THESE BOOKS AND GIVE THEM A READ! THEY ARE AMAZING. AND SO WORTH YOUR TIME.AND NORMALLY, I WOULD NOT GET UPSET IF YOU DIDN’T LIKE A BOOK THAT I REALLY LOVE; BUT THESE ARE JUST SOMETHING ELSE, SO PLEASE DON’T SHOW ANY HATE TO THESE BOOKS.

This was just wonderful, the relationship rollercoaster was hold my breath scary at home but I absolutely adored their story

Liz never fails! Time and time again she produces the most incredible books, the best story lines and the most outstanding characters with so much love and connection! Kennedy and Isaiah were absolute perfect! 100000000% adoration! The windy city series is one of my all time faves until the end of time! No one writes multi sports MF romance like Liz! 🤍

This book was just perfect and Isaiah Rhodes will most definitely be a book boyfriend long talked about. This whole series has been fantastic but this is definitely my favourite book yet and one of my favourite books this year. I couldn't put it down and I haven't found a book in a while that held my attention like this. The journey of these MCs was an utter joy to read, each had their own issues to overcome as well as navigating their accidental marriage. I loved the emotions this book took me through and it kept me on my toes throughout. The found family in this book is also perfect.

I loved the first two in this series and didn’t really get into book 3 ( but planning to retry later).This book however was so so good. Great characters and I loved how the relationship grew between the main characters. Isiah is a big common roll who has crushed on Kennedy forever. Their accidental Vegas wedding and what happens thereafter is such a great read. Hooked from the start and could not put this down. Really enjoyable

un. But definitely overhyped…I loved Isaiah, I loved Kennedy and I loved seeing our Windy City characters pop up everywhere, especially Miller, Kai and Max.However, the plot for this was a bit 'meh'. I think after 'Caught Up' pulling at my heart strings like it did, this one paled in comparison. I DEVOURED! This book in less than a day. I’ve loved the Windy City series from Mile High. Loving every book in their own way.Play along made me laugh, kick my feet, cry, hold my heart. Isaiah and Kennedy are just perfection!Isaiah just became my newest book boyfriend.This book is going to live in my head rent free forever now!

Fully wasn't ready for this book to end. I have loved every single one of these books! Isaiah and kenedys relationship, whilst unconventional at first, made me fall in love with the idea of falling in love! The whole group's relationship has truly made me realise the value of friendship and I cannot wait for the next book to see who Rio met in the past that was the one for him (I also cannot wait to see more of the group dynamics because these people are funny AF)

His struggles with anxiety were written so well and this man needs to be protected at all costs.Kennedy didn’t have an easy childhood and she works her ass off to be the best she can be. I loved that she found a safe space with Isiah to be soft and she always showed up for him, including running eight blocks in the rain to get to him.Ken and Isaiah were such an amazing couple,. I could go on and on about this book, it was literal perfection. I laughed, I cried and my heart hurts because it’s over.If you haven’t read this one yet, please do yourself a favour and read it immediately 💜

The way Liz makes (Im)perfect couples gives chills, every book is a new discovery and it only gets better every release. I'm in love with all these characters, the pacing was amazing, as usual, adult characters having adult problems and resolving as adults, loooooove. Hope everyone can have fun reading and felling like a part of this beautiful made up family. PS: Rio's book can't come fast enough!
