Durable and easy to clean. Lower step-in height which may be good for elderly cats. Also much larger area than typical litter boxes, which may be helpful if your cat likes to fling litter.

Of the (5) litter boxes available throughout the house post-op, this is the ONLY one she was able to enter without difficulty and the ONLY one long enough to catch her temporarily modified stream (all others had pee outside the box, and had I not put down pee pads the carpet would’ve been hit many times).Our girl is a Ragdoll, a large/long breed, so she needs XL litter boxes (~18”W x 25” L). These are NOT easy to find to begin with; add to that the need for specialization (senior/large breed/low entry) and you’ll see why it took hours just to find this one.In addition to having the lowest entry, it also had the widest entry too, which larger breeds need. It was also very easy to clean, as it seemed to have a non-stick coating (?). Plus the neutral color was a bonus.So this XL low-entry wide-entry litter box won paws-down 🐾

I have an elderly cat whose hips are wonky. She started having issues stepping into her litterbox without tripping, and started misjudging the inside wall due to decreasing mobility. This litterbox is AWESOME. She can walk right in, but the walk in ledge is high enough litter doesn't spill out. It's also very wide and deep, with good wall height. She doesn't misjudge anymore as she has plenty of room to maneuver. Also would be great for a litter of kittens! Their tiny selves can get in and out and they have plenty of real estate. I have mine in a corner of a large walk in closet. It is not small but it is lightweight. Perfect for my kitty's needs. Love!

This litter box was bought for a senior cat that was having trouble stepping into a regular litter box. She doesn't seem to have any trouble getting in the box and the large size helps prevent accidents. Seems to be sturdy and of good quality and fit my budget.

I got the large size, which is really big (awesome for my Maine Coon Cat). I'm using it for a cat bed rather than a litter box. Two things that lowered my rating a half star each:1. It is hard and brittle plastic, unlike most litter boxes which have a little bit of resiliency to the material. It is lightweight, and probably fine, but more likely to break with any kind of impact. It has a shiny finish, which is more likely to show prints, dirt, etc.2. The navy looks like black to me.

Great for my elderly furball, who would rather poop on the floor than exercise her arthritic haunches to get into a litter box. It's easy to clean, nothing really sticks to it that a dry paper towel can't remove, and it's big enough for even the most monstrous of felines. Just don't get this if your cat is an enthusiastic digger, because they will fling litter everywhere over the low sides.

Excellent material and resistance, weight (empty) is excellent and size is good for a 14pounds cat, it seems comfortable for the cat.

Indispensable for geriatric or cats with mobility problems. My cat was dealing with a flare up of CKD related symptoms including ataxia and coordination problems and we had to switch his litter to one with lower walls. He also is a very large kitty so he needed a very large litter box to fit as well. This litterbox was perfect for him as he recovered. He had no problems with the height, the box is study, and it holds a good amount of litter. It's also quite easy to clean - we use clumping littler (which might not be the best) and his old litterbox would sometimes make it difficult to get the clumped pee off the sides but this one almost felt like using a brand new non-stick pan, the pee just comes right off!Great value, very sturdy, and immensely helpful for our ill kitty. Just make sure to put enough litter to cover up any odors!
