Of the rings I have had, this definitely falls on the better side of them. I started with Anker, but their durability was not great. They eventually broke when dropped ( that’s not weird, just this one is tougher. my rings get a lot of abuse ). This is my 3rd syncwire (actually might be more). They have more features than the Anker: double sided magnets so the phone will magnetize to gym racks or any other magnetic metal. It’s thinner so more pocket friendly. The rotation aspect is a clicking bearing. So the ring doesn’t rotate willy nilly. It “resists”. The anker could sometimes be “twirled”. This one has much more stability. The clickiness could be a plus or a minus from a sensory perspective. But it’s a double plus for me. Better functionality and lovely experience. All the ones I have are still working. I bought more for more devices and more styles. Even some wireless chargers can sometimes connect through it. But mostly, you need to remove it for wireless changing.Complaint? There is a ridge on the ring for which the intent is to make it easier to open the ring. I find it’s still a challenge to do one handed. The anker was not, but part of that is it was bigger *and* looser, so it basically could “fall open”. If they adjusted the ring to make it easier/reliable to one handed open even while wearing gloves, I am not sure there would be a new flaw I could identify.This one is well done. My wife just got the pink one. Cause, pink. My new phone is black, so I got the black one. The leftover ones are going to the kids.

This is absolutely fantastic! I tried so many failed phone stands. This one is super solid and robust, and rotated with an effortless "clicking" motion. It's super easy to adjust the stand, and the magnet easily holds on both the ring and the phone to something magnetic. It doesn't charge through, but that's fine.And the funny thing - I didn't buy this for the ring, as I've never used a ring holder on my phone before, but for the first time, almost by accident, I started using the ring to hold my phone. And it's fantastic! Huge and sturdy, easily fits my fingers.The only thing it can't really do is prop the phone up in portrait mode as some stands do. But I need it much more in landscape for watching video.

After needing another ring holder, I searched and gave this a try. I am cheap so buying the cheaper ones didn't last. Decided to buy this. This ring holder is worth every penny!! This magnet is fantastic! I had previously bought the car mount and quickly discovered my magnet at the time was not strong enough to hold my phone. So yes, use this ring magnet with the magnet car mount....its just worth it. The ring holder itself is very sturdy, I love the clickety sound when I turn it. The magnet, ladies beware...I have broken fingernails when putting the ring holder onto my case. When you take your phone off the mount, you do have to pry the ring holder from the mount. That magnet is strong y'all. Easy to put on your case, im just saying watch those nails girls lol. Anyway, this is the best ring holder/magnet all in one.

It works exactly as described since it sticks onto my MagSafe case, and I can hold up my phone by just holding the ring.Installation was tricky because the inner ring (sticker) was also magnetic. You had to line it up precisely on the first try, or you couldn't pry the thin magnet off with the adhesive. Good thing it comes with a spare sticker.I have tried removing the ring, but was unsuccessful as it felt like it would damage my phone's case. At the same time, I don't use any form of contactless charging so it doesn't matter.In conclusion, I would buy this ring again.

I wanted to love this so much! I honestly did! And there are a TON of awesome qualities about this magnetic ring! It’s very sturdy, lightweight, not too bulky to fit in my pocket. The magnet works fantastic on the back of my phone case (my case has a magnetic ring adhered to the backside). I also don’t have to remove this ring when I mount my phone to my magnetic car mount which was a HUGE plus for me because that’s exactly what I was looking for! The magnets are STRONG and I feel VERY confident that my phone won’t fall while I’m driving! It takes a bit of force to pull my phone off (that’s how strong the magnet is) but I’d rather it be secure! The inner ring is made well also, I can comfortably hold my phone while using it without worrying about it breaking or getting loose.The bad, and the reason for my 3 stars is completely cosmetic. The rubber material along the outer ring is starting to wear off, and I’ve only had this ring for less than a week!!! I could understand if it was months of rugged use, but we’re talking DAYS! Poor quality design choice there and if it wasn’t for that, I’d have given this product 5 stars a million times over!
