This book is bilingual Arabic and English. Useful to improve your Arabic. This book has a number of important lessons summarised from Ghazalis other major works. If anything, just read this one book from Ghazali. It contains all you need to know and practically do in life. As one tends to forget, I would recommend to read this book more than once in life, perhaps even several times a year.

This is a summary of Ghazali's teachings with both English and Arabic/urdu translations on each page. Gives you a summary of most of his great works and ideologies he lived by. I loved the dua at the end. If you buy one Ghazali book, this should be it. If you are into Sufism or spirituality highly recommend

I like when theybjave the original text along with the translation , some times it helps me understand the words and context. Less things get lost in translation.

Imam Al Ghazali (ra) is a classical Sufic thinker and author, and this text is a classical Sufic text. The first 30 pages or so are a fine introduction, giving a comprehensive context of Ghazali's time and life, the thinking of the time and important social, political, as well as religious events and circumstances--a very scholarly work with accompanying citations. The actual text is enhanced by the original Arabic, which is helpful for anyone who struggles with translations and seeks deeper meanings. The book ends with an appendix of persons cited in the text, giving brief biographical notes for each. And there is a nice bibliography.

This is indeed a marvel of the great man and Sheikh Imam Al-Ghazali(RA). Easy accesible to any reader, it reaches the heart in a simple and direct way.
