Downsides are the fitting instructions are poor and the tools provided barely adequate. However, there are plenty of online videos to take you through the procedure. Use your own bits and trim tool. The filters themselves seem good quality. They are smaller than standard so slip in easily. The fitting process is not as easy as I'd like. There are many pieces of trim requiring removal prior to accessing the filter housing itself. All are of poor quality. I can't see the trim of the Tesla 3 surviving many more disassembly and reassembly cycles. If available I'll buy all new trim clips for refitting next time.
