Great lens for the price
The media could not be loaded. This lens is great for someone starting to get into photography (like myself). There is definitely a learning curve to manual focus, but turning on the peaking assist I have been able to get some great shots. I have used a tripod, but I have also shot handheld and still have great image quality. I have had to delete quite a few photos, but I put on “continuous” shooting mode and this seems to work very well for me. You can still use your camera in “auto” where the only thing you have to adjust is the focus. I think this lens is great for the price, I will be continuing to use it to get pictures of the hummingbirds in the backyard.

Cristales (lentes)
El manejo es super sencillo. Y no hubo problemas en la configuración y uso del lente. Pero los cristales no reflejan una óptima resolución en las capturas tomadas.

Everything wrong with cheap lenses in a single package.
The lens claims to be for various Sony full-frame cameras, but it can't handle full frame shooting. Vignetting when full wide with this lens is already extremely noticeable, and when you push in, it goes from vignetting to "Shooting through a toilet roll tube" on the double quick, with the lens itself intruding on the image in the corners. Sharpness borderline nonexistent, the entire lens is unstable, and if you haven't locked in the Pull-to-extend telephoto ring, you can't focus the lens, because it takes less force to rotate the entire lens in the telephoto ring housing than it does to turn the focus ring.This.... is not a good lens. And I'm pretty sure it doesn't even handle the actual zoom ranges it claims to anyway.

Great but not really worth the cost
While this absolutely does work once you finally figure it all out the fact that the tripod mount broke the first time I went to tighten it down is disastrous. It is some of the cheapest looking and feeling plastic that I have seen in a while i would find another brand and absolutely go with a better version for f the tripod mount.

not bad at all
ok, besides the obvious chromatic aberrations and lack of crispness, this lens is worth the money in my opinion! the focus ring is tight, but that's alright because it allows better fine adjustments. the focal length doesn't actually lock out, but it's tight enough that it doesn't move when focusing. if you're wanting a thousand dollar lens, pay the money, but for the $50ish bucks i paid for this, i'm extremely happy (as long as it doesn't fall apart).

great for the price
Great amount of zoom for the price but with that expect its not super sharp at all, but gives a vintage type feel if that's what your into. great for just checking out birds and stuff in your yard.

For the price, I'm super impressed!
For the asking price, I have to admit my expectations were zero. And truth be told, it's not great optically or in build quality. I tried to take a picture of the yard behind my office and the saturation / clarity left much to be desired. And while trying to focus, the zoom barrel unscrewed itself and I had to twist it back together before it fell apart in my hands. It's NOT well built. At all.BUT... this kins of range is kind of amazing to get shots of things like the moon. I never tried to do anything like that before, and my first attempt kind of floored me. Then I noticed a bright dot in the sky which I found out was Jupiter, and after zooming in quite a bit in post, you can totally see the white and brown cloud formations! This is amazing, I never thought this was possible using something to inexpensive!I used my cheapest camera body (a5100) since it is the only crop size Sony I have at the moment and I'm blown away by what it possible for the money. Is it a great lens? No, but it is a FANTASTIC value for the asking price if you want to experiment with things like this!!

Very impressed with range.
I’ve wanted to try one of these out for years and figured I’d give a try. I was impressed with the range and build quality of the lens. Unfortunately my Sony A3000 gave out before it arrived but I did have an extra t-mount for canons so I was able to test with a Canon Rebel T5. For best results at the maximum zoom range, I would recommend the use of a tripod or monopod. Handheld shots are possible but can lead to slight motion blur. Great quality glass and value for a budget telephoto lens.
