Durable
So far this set of pans is heavy duty and the copper color is sharp! They are durable, nonstick and clean up easily. I am using wooden or plastic utensils with them but I feel you could use metal at times as well. So far, I am very happy with this purchase. I am giving the baking items as a wedding gift since I didn't need them.

Better than they used to be. A pretty nice set and value. Should last a reasonable time for nonstick
I've tried Gotham Steel pots and pans before and I swear these are a little thicker and better feeling than they used to be. It's a pretty good value for what all you get. I'll use some pieces more than others, but this would be a great set to get for stocking a kitchen with. So far they're holding up fine and performing well. I do think a multi-ply material has better temperature regulation and control, but these don't feel super cheap with hot spots that lead to scorching either. I do still recommend not using them over high heat that isn't necessary and to avoid using nonstick sprays that leave a tacky coating or degrade the nonstick, but treat them well and they should hold up to regular use for sometime. Not heirloom quality by any means, but no nonstick pot or pan ever is. Recommended, but do take care of them to prolong their life span.

Good nonstick surface, very lightweight
I got this set for a simple reason: I needed to replace a nonstick frying pan after it got scratched, and was, once again, debating what to try this time. To put things in perspective, most of my cooking happens on my All-Clad stainless steel set, but well, a nonstick frying pan, or two, can come in very handy. As you probably know, nonstick pans are not supposed to live for a long time, and my previous option, a low-priced non-stick offering from a well-known brand, started showing scratches at about the 2 year mark. This option got my attention as it is advertised to be safe for metal utensils - not that we are using them on nonstick. Still, well, somehow scratches appeared on the previous one... and the nonstick frying pans are used by everybody in this house (egg lovers...).So, this one has, at least on paper, a few basics right: in the product description, they claim that it can withstand metal spatulas and electric beaters (not that we plan to use either) and they also claim that it is PFOA and PFOS free, which is a good starting point. So far, and I am writing that after cooking for Thanksgiving, I am pretty happy with the nonstick surface - it works very well, at least for what I want. It feels a little rough, but I didn't have trouble with stuff sticking on it, and it cleans very easily. There are two things that make me skeptical about this set. The first is its weight - the product description claims that these pans are 35% lighter than cast iron, but this leads me to believe that whoever wrote this has never held a cast iron pan. These are very lightweight, certainly way lighter than stainless steel, let alone cast iron; to the point of making me nervous. This brings me to the second point - I am not quite sure what these pans are made of. They are being advertised as copper, but the copper seems to be just the outer layer, just for the color - they seem to be aluminum pans, which explains the price and the weight. Now, aluminum, as you may know, has one great thing and one not-as-great thing when it comes to cookware: it is an excellent heat conductor (that's why clad technology pots use aluminum sandwiched with stainless steel), but, if left on its own devices, it is notorious for warping.Indeed, as expected for aluminum pans, the pans heat evenly. What I am worried about is how long they will last without warping - which, for a glass cooktop as mine, is very bad news. So far though, I can say the best for them, and if you have a gas cooktop... they may make an excellent choice.

Excellent affordable pans
I got these for my kid nephew to have his own set of pans to learn to cook, and they are phenomenal.I've had Gotham Steel pans in the past, and these are even better than those were, so over the last decade they have absolutely stepped up their game. The pans themselves are pretty light, very sturdy and quite well made. And the non stick works better than I expected. Even a kid can't get stuff burnt on or stuck, at least nothing that doesn't come off with a push of a spatula.Cleaning is a breeze, love that these are dishwasher safe. They look great too! Kid's super proud of his new set of pans and they should hopefully last him a good long while.

Great cooking and baking set (would make a perfect wedding gift)
This is a nice medium-weight set of pots and pan as well as bakeware. They don't feel too thin or flimsy, yet are not super heavy either (due to the lightweight aluminum they contain, I suppose). They are advertised to be OK to use with metal utensils, although I would never do that with nonstick cookware. Also, they are described as dishwasher safe, but I find that putting nonstick products through dishwasher cycles degrades their nonstick quality, so I don't do that anymore.I was glad they explained not to use cooking spray. Cooking spray heats on the surface of a nonstick pan and then causes food to stick over time.I really like the fact that the handles on the pots and pans don't get too hot to take hold of.The bakeware is heavy enough to perform well in the oven and does not warp.I particularly like that this set is oven safe up to 500 degrees (lids included). Most cooking sets can't make that claim. I often like to use Dutch ovens in the oven, not just on top of the stove, so you can do that with this set, even at high oven heat. All in all, this is a very complete set of nonstick cookware that looks good and performs well. Would make a good wedding gift -- or good for somebody who is ready to retire an overused set of cookware with a new good quality set.

Great pot and pan set!
This is great for personal use or to gift as a house warming gift. We needed to replace a couple pots but this was absolutely perfect to replace everything and have them match. It’s easy to clean and light. Light pans is a must for me as I have carpal tunnel and heavy pots and pans are hard to clean and use.
