Could be carefully cut if too long.Although advertised as electrical screws they do not have the expected non-threaded tips and are flat-headed, so not ideal where the screws are exposed. Slightly convex screw heads look better. I have not yet used any but can confirm that they screw into 3.5mm nuts correctly.
