They allow her to have a clean, fresh, washcloth, without asking her hostess for one, or dragging a wet washcloth back home to launder. Simply use it and toss it. I like them when camping. Again, use it and toss it. At home, they work as a face cloth, to remove the first layer of makeup before bed. No more messy, makeup stained washcloths, to launder ... use it and toss it. Because they are cotton, they don't fall apart and if you're the frugal type, they can be hung up to dry and used two or three more times. They're a time saver, a labor saver and linen saver.
