Worked good. First time using them before and probably needed to read the info better. 8lb birds did not fit well in them. But we made it work.

Game changer for chicken processing
This is a nice firm chicken Cone. It seems well assembled and sturdy. It appears to be all metal so it rises off quickly got cleaning. For our budget. The chickens fit into it very well and relaxes them.

Fits a fairly good sized bird
It’s not pleasant no matter how you do it, but this holds everything together as you dispatch your birds. It has those handy screw holes that allow you to slide it up and off so you can keep your inconspicuous screws where you hang it and then put your cone away after. It’s great for a backyard processing area.

It does the job. Could be sturdier and slightly larger, but it sure holds a bird.

Good quality
I'd recommend for average egg layer chickens and smaller game birds, but these do not work AT ALL for larger meat birds. We tried using them and we could scarely get their heads to reach the bottom of the cone and then when they started flailing around after dispatch, they ended up getting out and flapping all over the ground or knocking the cone off its screws.Like I said great quality for smaller chickens and game birds, but not larger meat birds like Cornish cross.Happy processing! ✌️
