Great accessory at a great price. The company has several beginners tutorials on YouTube which are very worthwhile. I love it.

I bought this to use with my Canon 80D DSLR. Although the Canon will fit some of the functions are not available to Canon users. It’s a nicely engineered piece of kit. I’m sure if I had a Sony camera I would still have this gimbal. For me the biggest dislike was the method of attaching the camera to the gimbal. It had to be done with an Allen key ( supplied ) hence the balancing process had to be repeated every time the camera is taken off and put back on. There are markers to help with this though. The problem is with the mounting plate which is attached to the camera. I found this to be a faff and decided to return the gimbal. On the positive side. As I said it’s a nicely engineered piece of kit. There are plenty of on line help videos for the setting up process Both OEM sponsored and “user” review/tutorials. Would I recommend this product? Not for Canon DSLR and similar users.

The FeiyuTech Official SCORP-C Camera Gimbal is supplied in a branded retail box within which you are presented with a piece of technical excellence in this precision instrument. In the box you will find the 3 axis gimbal stabilizer, a very nice (and immediately useful) tripod stand, camera backing base, quick release plate, lens holder, and an assortment of cables and fixing screws. I do love a piece of well engineered equipment and in this gimbal that is unmistakable, it is lightweight at just 1200g but the calibre of the materials is superb with aluminium being the dominant material along with some good high specification plastics and chrome where they are used. The controls for the joystick and buttons for the various functions all feel top notch, whilst the various locking screws, trigger and adjustment knobs are all knurled to give excellent grip. As always I charged the gimbal before using it for the first time, allowing me to do a little reading and also watch a few videos and download the app to use with it.The initial setup took me a little while as I first had to determine where all the various locking points were and then plug in the cables, set the camera in the position I wanted it to be used and then change that to see if it remained in place...following that turning on the gimbal to see if it was happy with that setup – I did have to tweak this before I had it all correct. I then used the cliders to show where it was set so that I could go back to these the next time I use the gimbal. The controls are what I would consider fairly standard, whilst there are are some that can be assigned via the app once downloaded and paired with the gimbal, it is a very useful app and will help you to understand and use the gimbal far quicker than trying to read the manuals etc – wish I had done that first! The app also allows remote control and a number of adjustment options to get the most from the gimbal.In use this is brilliant, it ensures that the camera can stay focussed on a target whilst maintaining stability and eliminating any camera shake. It is comfortable to use for a reasonably long duration, the controls are well placed, clearly marked and very responsive in use.Overall I am blown away by this piece of kit, the presentation, build quality, attention to detail, design, features and most importantly the stabilization is amazing and I would very strongly recommend this to anyone who is considering a gimbal to aid their media production. This product is amazing. I love it and it is worth every penny.This gimbal is very lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around. It also comes with a carrying case that you can use to place your camera in when you're not using it so that it doesn't get damaged. It has three-axis stabilization, which means that it will keep your footage very smooth and even throughout the entire video.It works great with my Sony A7RII camera and I've never had any issues with it. The gimbal comes with a USB cable, so all you have to do is plug it in and turn on your phone's Bluetooth connection, then open up the app on your phone to connect them! This makes things so much easier than having to connect both devices through Bluetooth or something like that.The gimbal itself has an LCD screen on top of it where you can see what angle your footage is being filmed at so that you can make sure everything looks great before you start shooting! All around this product is amazing--I would definitely recommend buying one if you want something lightweight but high quality!

The gimbal itself was very good and you can use the app to operate it. It charges up very quick however, I was recording at some weddings recently and the battery life let me down so much. The product description says the battery should last "13 hours theoretically" but I found myself charging the gimbal a number of times after an hour / hour and half. Then It was so difficult, I had to connect a portable charger to it.It may be worthwhile if you are recording short videos, but not the best if recording for long periods. Due to the kind of shooting I need it for, it's not right for me

It feels and looks premium. It has a ton of features that I mostly likely would not use. What I like is that it's gives smooth footage and it is easy to use once setup.Product is sturdy, light enough, and tough. Like pretty tough. I used it to film some up-front paintball videos using a Nikon D3500 and it hold up. You should calibrate the camera in the settings portion of the gimbal (swipe left and right to change menus) as well as balance, and youll get very stable video.This product takes some getting used to and I watched a ton of Youtube videos to figure out the best way to balance it. Once you have it figured out though it gets easier and it is a great addition to my kit and gives me some beautiful shots for a documentary I'm working on.Cool product, but if you use zoom lenses it will not work. Center of gravity balance for long lenses will push the camera back too far causing it to hit the rear arm mechanism. A 35mm lens works well based on my experience.Only draw back for me is you cannot remove the battery so make sure you’re able to charge it on sight if it’s a full day shoot. Read the manual for everything. No regrets on the purchase whatsoever.

This is my second feiyutech gimbal. This one feels great on my hands. very easy to setup. App works great. Overall very happy.

Before I checkout, I watched a lot of reviews on Youtube and all the positive reviews I saw were all true. I did not make a mistake in choosing my first gimbal in my life.

I am going to focus on the 5.5lb payload. While I could probably choose a gimbal that supports a smaller load, this allows some leeway if I ever get a large camera. If you don't choose a gimbal that can support the weight of your camera and any component you add to it, the gimbal will have a hard time balancing. This is a sleek gimbal, however like any gimbal you need practice and patience, and a bit of brawn to walk around with it. You'll have to re-balance with each lens you use because the gimbal has to balance 3 axes.

It well be very hot if you use it, i don’t know if its just mine or all the products

I received this FeiyuTech SCORP 2 Gimbal Stabilizer for my mirrorless camera system. I was blown away by how light and easy to use this thing is. It fits my mirrorless camera which is a Canon EOS R like a glove and does an amazing job of keeping it steady, even when I'm in a tough situation.Initially, when first getting this there was a learning curve on how to set this up and make sure that your camera is stable. They have an entire tutorial on this in the manual and online on the FeiyuTech website and in their app if you ever forget for some reason.The first time takes a while but after that, it got a lot easier to make sure the camera was level using the manual method but there is a function where you can auto-stabilize as well as long as you are close to the correct stabilization settings for your particular camera.Once you get everything set up and stabilized the gimbal itself has a lot of functions how to use as you can use this to have your camera vertical or horizontal depending on how you want to shoot. Also, you can set the camera to be low to the ground or upright and then there are the modes you can use as well on how your gimbal moves according to your movements.There are also knobs to where you can control the yaw and pitch of the camera to get those perfect shots.This gimbal does a great job and removing the camera shake and when I am using everything is so smooth.One thing I did was purchase the case from FeiyuTech as well as it does not come with the gimbal itself but is well worth the money to get as it gives you that piece of mind that you are protecting a valuable piece of equipment.This gimbal is a great value for the money, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line stabilizer.
