I personally really liked the art because it’s a very good painting and it is a smooth mouse pad.

My computer desk is old and beat up. I spend most of my time at it, so it's suffered from water spills and leaks over the years and it show. So I got a desk pad. I only occasionally use the mouse on it (usually I use the drawer) but it works well enough. It easily absorbs condensation from cups, cans, and bottles without it reaching the desk - so main job done. I have a print of the original "The Great Wave..." on a wall in my room, while my desktop wallpaper is of a red Japanese temple building surrounded by blooming cherry tree blossoms, so I thought this design would fit in my space well. The stitching around the edge is well dome and should hopefully prevent the cloth from delaminating from the rubber base material. Nice item - if you're into Japanese stuff anyway...
