First,I love the little jars. I have them lined up on my shelves. They let you see the label and the amount of item on hand. This is a great convient value. The jar top is wide and adds to easy measurements because I can use a 1/2 cup scooper.I like the flavor of the darker flax seeds in my baking products. They add many nutritional values when you grind your own, per application. These seeds have a long shelf life as long as they are stored properly. They taste fresh and not ransid.

In the description it does not say organic but these are the best flaxseeds I have ever bought and this is my 4th jar--this is a different brand==when they arrived I was going to call Amazon as to how to return them--they were smaller and the color was slightly darker but since I had my hair washed and I was waiting for them to arrived--I decided to use them--and to my surprise they were perfect and the gel I made came out perfect so I will surely recommend them to anyone
