Easy to use, dissolves and works quickly, tastes pleasant, very competitively priced. Would recommend.

I ordered the Ipaghula Husk Orange solution because I had a temporary injury and was very inactive for a two week period which caused constipation. My results with the solution were positive and I was aware that I had saved money with this product when compared to a far more expensive rival brand which was approximately double the price. I found the taste acceptable. Not particulary nice like a fruit juice drink but this is a medical solution. Anyone complaining about the taste should think about the necessary medical ingredients and compare them to what is in a nice tasting fruit drink. A rival product may taste better but for me its a case of “down the hatch” job done. It mixes well if you put the water in first then add the powder gradually. If you pour the satchet in first then it will probably need more stirring. A good amount (30) at a low cost. Very good.

Works fine but it doesn't dissolve in water and barely tastes of orange.

For me, this works much better than Fybrogel. It tastes pretty nasty though. If you add the powder to the glass before the water there is no problem with the product dissolving or forming clumps

Provides a good source of fibre. Pleasant taste but hard to mix and dissolve fully.

If you don't have bleeding haemorrhoids you might want to skip this review! I had bleeding internal haemorrhoids for a long time, so bad that on occasions the blood penetrated through my pants and trousers. Often the toilet water would be red with blood as well and I could hear the blood dripping in to the bowl. I was bleeding so regularly that my iron levels dropped and I nearly couldn't donate blood last time I went (it happens to women who have heavy periods, but I'm a bloke!). I finally went to the GP again as it had got worse, and he put these on the prescription along with suppositories. But we thought it was probably going to need an operation. I started taking between 1 and 3 of these a day, depending on roughly how much fiber I got from my food sources (e.g. if I didn't eat much fiber from my food one day, I'd take 3 of these to make up for it). I also took the suppositories for a week and did all the things on the NHS website: improved my diet (I have an almost total junk food ban now), increased exercise (gym + running), limited my time sitting on the toilet (and never strain), and limited my time sitting down in general. It's wasn't easy but the reward continues to spur me on: the bleeding stopped within 2 days of these changes. It's now been over a month without a single bleeding episode whatsoever. It was nearly every day before, and as soon as I started taking these plus made the other changes, the problem has stopped almost overnight. Considering how bad my bleeding was, I really didn't think it would stop, so I am very happy. The role I believe the husk plays is it softens the poo. I noticed it "slips out" with little friction and therefore doesn't aggravate any haemorrhoids you may have. I highly recommend these, so did the GP. I do believe they make a difference. It saved me from having to wear nappies to catch the blood or have an operation (at least for now anyway!)

to much to drink with is product I wronly assumed it would be an orange powder with a small glass of water but reading the box it was requesting you drink a nmber of glasses of water seller gave good service arrived before time
