I got this for my German Shepherd for vet trios because she absolutely despises them. I was worried it would be hard to get her use to it but I just put treats on the inside so she would place her nose in herself for about a week and just left it laying on the coffee table so she could see it and realize it wasn’t scary. She doesn’t mind wearing it a bit. It allows her to pant and fits her very well.

I purchased these muzzles for my two German Shepherds and am really pleased with the product so far! The workmanship and quality seem good and both dogs wear the muzzles comfortably and without complaint. The fit is good (I ordered a large for both dogs) and allows room for panting(breathable), drinking, and taking treats. The weight doesn’t seem to trouble either of my two dogs and the basket construction allows them to safely sniff and explore. Will update for functionality and durability after more use!Size info for my dogs (in case fit help is needed): Male GSD snout circumference 14” snout length: 4.75” neck 20”; Female GSD snout circumference 12.5” snout length 4.75” neck 17”.

I got this muzzle for my dog with pica. His "leave it" and "drop it" commands aren't very good outside of training sessions, so I needed a physical barrier to keep him from eating everything. I wanted something that was open enough for good air flow (wire basket), deep enough for panting and receiving treats, and long enough that he couldn't pick up anything off the ground. It was difficult finding a muzzle that checked all these boxes because his shape doesn't fit breed standards due to being mixed. Great Dane muzzles looked deep but were way too large, and brachycephalic muzzles were too short. I decided to give this muzzle a try.My first complaint is that the sizing guide is a little deceiving. My dog's muzzle measured 3.5 inches long and 11 inches around. I thought the 4.3in x 14in (medium) would be plenty of room, since it advertises enough room for panting for even a dog of those measurements. However, when we tried it on there was barely any room for him to pant sufficiently or receive treats. The length of the muzzle was already long, so I felt that going up to the large size would be too long. I ended up cutting/grinding the bottom end and bending it wider to allow his mouth to open more. I just wish I could bend it to more of a box shape (less of a slant), but the metal is too sturdy. The muzzle is actually more slanted at the bottom than the product picture makes it seem.The other complaint I have is that the nose pad at the top of the muzzle is stiff and is not flush with the cage or follows the same shape, so it causes the cage of the muzzle to lift up at an odd angle. Not quite sure how to fix this yet except maybe trying to work the leather more. I realize that altering the product nulls any kind of return or warranty, and alters the original design, but it works for us and it does what I need it to do.I also find it strange that the product arrived wrapped in plastic wrap, but it wasn't a big deal to me since the product itself didn't appear used.Despite those negative points, I do feel that the product is good overall and achieves what I need it to do. Even though the shape and size of the muzzle are not what I expected, the product is sturdy, including the leather straps and metal cage.Picture attached is how it fits to my dog before and after altering. I made sure the edges were smooth, and that the bent piece does not go near his neck or pose a danger (it does not go past the muzzle frame).

Didn't fit. My dog took it right off her face. It's doesn't fit so your dog won't be able to take it off.

I got this muzzle for my husky. The muzzle was very long in her nose but dig around her head amazingly! The quality is so good and so effective for keeping her from biting. She can still drink and receive treats. The design is amazing and the padding is perfect! I would keep it and the only reason I am returning it is because her snout is too short for it! Otherwise, I would recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this basket muzzle for my German Shepherd, hoping it would be a comfortable and secure solution. While it does prevent biting effectively and allows for some panting, the fit just wasn’t great for my dog’s head shape. My German Shepherd has a longer snout, and this muzzle felt a bit tight in some areas but loose in others, making it hard to get a snug, comfortable fit. The straps needed constant adjustment, and even then, it seemed to shift around when he moved, which made me nervous about it staying secure during walks. The material feels okay, but the uneven fit means my dog didn’t seem entirely comfortable wearing it for longer periods. Overall, it’s functional but not the best fit for my dog, which is a big factor when choosing a muzzle.

I rescued a Great Dane who showed some signs of aggression towards my other dog who is more than half her size and weight - she’s also extremely emaciated and only weighs 70 pounds when she’s supposed to weigh 150.. Needless to say, I felt that I needed to get her a muzzle to protect my smaller dog as well as any dog she comes into contact with on walks, at the dog park, etc. I ordered the large since she has a very big head and it was way too big on her. I then ordered the medium which was a perfect fit. She had that thing off in less than thirty seconds and that was me trying to keep her from pulling it off. We had it so tightly secured on her head that we thought that surely there was no way to get it off. We were wrong. Maybe it’ll be good for someone else who doesn’t have these types of issues with a new and scared dog, but this was not it for us.

This muzzle is perfect for my large male GSD. Finally a muzzle that fits his nose and gives him enough room to open his mouth. My guy hates muzzles. It was always a battle trying to get one on him no matter how much bribing and training I did. This one is pretty easy to get on him even when he’s jerking his head about in defiance. Once it’s on him, he doesn’t seem to mind it that much.
