D3548 1100KV Brushless Motor Outrunner for RC Models FPV Multirotor Quadcopter

I'm glad that I followed another member's review when buying this motor. It can be frustrating when the information and/or photographic representations can be misunderstood and/or be posted in error. It makes ordering online a "hit or miss" process at times.Not with this product! This is a big and powerful motor...And it came quicker than the delivery date.I matched it up with an 80amp speed control, a 5c lithium battery, and an 11×8 prop. Great for heavier planes and built your own kits.

I purchased this motor for a .32 glow conversion on a Great Planes Fun One that's been sitting around for 25 years. It works great! The plane is almost 4 lbs and I am using a 2200 3s pack with an apc 12E prop. It flies the plane with authority---much more performance than with the glow motor. It is pulling 45 amps and 500 watts and using a yep 60 amp controller at 24 degrees timing. Very Satisfied.

The first motor I received had a manufacturing defect (windings were rubbing the magnets.) Returned for a replacement unit. The replacement motor was not defective. Nice powerful motor but slightly larger and heavier than expected. Draws a lot of amps so would suggest 40C or higher rated lipo batteries. Good running motor at a reasonable price. Flys a .40 sized sport model with authority.

This is a complete package you get motor mount, prop adapter,bullet connectors already soldered and all screws needed plus an extra set. The motor runs smoothly and wires seem to be a nice quality silicone . It also comes with a detailed spec sheet which is very important so you can get the most out of your motor without damaging it. I’m using it on a 3D airplane that was originally designed for .40-.46 2cycle engine. I will be using a 12x 6 E apc prop & 80amp esc. 3s to start.

I'm getting another DYS D3548 1100KV for my vintage GP PT40 thats finally found its way out of storage... cant wait. I'm sure this is more power than she needs, but thats what I want for heavy hauling.

I got a 3548 a few months ago and tested the motor in 2 different airplanes. The motor performs amazing even after several crashes. I am getting 2 more so that i dont have to keep removing and switching. It works amazing on a Tower Hobbies Sonic with a 4s battery.

The motor was used to replace an electric motor in a Somethin Extra ARF aerobatic RC plane. With present weather conditions have not yet had a chance to test fly but bench testing seems to indicate adequate power. Have since flown it and vertical is out of sight better than the .46 engine it replaced. Used an 11x7 E prop with a 60a ESC and 4S 3300ma lipo battery getting about 10 min flight time and that is comparable to what I flew on nitro

First run was crazy power. Everything seems great on 12x6 prop 70amp esc. We will see how the durability holds up but so far very oleased with this motor
