Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F, Hydrating Vitamin C Oil for Brightening and Even Skin Tone, 30ml

Great product, my skin is looking brighter by the day. When drops are distributed it is like liquid but when rubbed into your skin it is definitely oil never seen anything like it. As it’s oil it gets into your deeper layers of your skin. By pigmentation is getting lighter, my fine lines on my lower eyelids are all but diminished.

I have suffered from itchiness/redness using L-ascorbic acid forms of Vit C so thought I'd try THD as it's meant to be great for sensitive skin as well as having all the benefits of deep skin penetration and collagen synthesis stimulation. This product makes my skin look just as bright as the direct forms of Vit C I've used and I have no skin irritation all. It has no smell. It is very lightly oily but I find once it's been on my skin for a minute or so, this sinks in and once covered by moisturiser and SPF, my skin isn't oily at all. I would say to apply your water-based serums before this though as it's oil-based. Price-wise, yes, there are cheaper ones out there, but THD is notoriously expensive so reckon this is a good price. Recommend!

Personally I love this nourishing oil. Its rich texture is highly moisturising but tends to leave an oily veil on the skin as opposed to being completely absorbed so I only use at night, as it is too heavy for day-time use (make up will slide off). It does not sting like other ascorbic acid gels and creams even for my sensitive skin.

Love The Ordinary products but considering stopping purchasing their serums as the top comes off in toiletry bags. It’s not always possible to keep products upright on a shelf if a) you are sharing with others; there isn’t enough room in bathroom or you are going on holiday. I have lost quite a lot of serum on several occasions with different bottles and really fed up with taking the serum bottle out of the toiletry bag to find the lid has come off and the bottle is empty. It’s a pity as it would be a good product at a good price if the serum stayed in its bottle.

My face does not tolerate Vitamin C straight up as Ascorbic Acid at all. I have sensitive skin and this Ester blend is perfect for me. I use a drop on each cheek to start. The oil goes a long way so I may just need one more to get my neck and below. I do put in on right from the pipette because if I put it in my palm, I lose a lot of it. Feels nice on my skin, maybe a tad oily if you are not into that. Its a great alternative to Ascorbic Acid and as a bonus, it's way more stable. Very affordable way to get the benefits of vitamin C without all the irritation.

At this point I don't know. I ordered it for hyperpigmentation I heard a dermatologist say we should use it. It's rather expensive though.
