Had to replace my old OKI...
My previous OKI was still printing perfectly acceptable pages 20 years and 47000 pages after I bought it. After such faithful service the only thing that made me buy a new one was the escalating price of the toner cartridges. This replacement (the great, great, great, grandson of the previous) is a worthy replacement. 1200 dpi prints, duplex paper saving and 30 pages a minute colour or b/w. But best of all, a full set of toner cartridges only cost 45 quid... This is a no brainer. I can't comment on the guy that felt the need to completely disassemble his printer to remove a paper jam but let's be honest, if this were true Oki would withdraw the unit as it would destroy their reputation and cripple their returns policy. I've only known Okis to be cheap to run and easy to use...it's just better than the rest at this price point.

Decent print quality, shockingly bad maintenance.
The print quality is entirely acceptable, but...What sort of design is it that requires the removal of all four toner cartridges, a drive belt, and a fuser unit to clear a paper jam? That's what I had to do and, perhaps not surprisingly, the printer would not work upon reassembly (and I do know my way around computers and printers and I am careful). I am grateful to ebuyer for accommodating my return of this printer, however, it really must be questioned as to whether this design renders the printer unfit for purpose.Avoid.
