a great problem solving tool; it even lets you see around corners!
I've used a product like this years ago to "look" inside a wall for electrical wires ("knob and tube", lol), but I needed a laptop to display it. This device displays it on your phone. Setup was a snap (download the app and pair it). In my case, I had to inspect the inside of a 2-inch pipe to help me ascertain if there was a problem. There are dozens of use cases for a tool like this. This tool has a bright enough series of LED lights and a good quality camera that shows details. My only complaint: the wire needs to be semi rigid in order to push it through something like a pipe; however, it's kind of a pain to roll it back up to put in the box it came in (4 inches or so). Not a show-stopper. Other than that, I think it's near perfect and a great value.

Great for mexhanics and engine inspection.
Bought this to look inside engine cylinders. Works great, you can see everything inside cylinder. Great picture and video quality. Can record video or pictures to your phone.Connexts right to phone and app works perfectly.

Good value
So, this works.Your get a good enough image. The end camera works as a usb camera, and works with any software. To use the side camera you need their app.But it is a simple, lightweight app. No complaints there. My only complaint is the image could be better, but for diagnosing problems it is good.

It works right out of the box.
This is a great endoscope. The light is bright, and worked instantly on my Android phone.I had a similar one that was purchased about 6 years ago, but there was no software upgrade for it so I had to buy a new one. These endoscopes are very handy. I work on boats, and there are many things like piping and cable runs that would be impossible to inspect without an endoscope. There is a magnet on this, but it's very weak, but since most of my parts on boats are non-ferrous 316 stainless steel, the magnet would be useless anyway.

Works great
I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on the tool trucks for scopes in the past. This by far is the most versatile and easy to use. Not to mention the price is excellent

Endoscope camera
Got it to check my stove insert flue pipe. It wasn’t up to the task. Even though the line is flexible and holds well it wasn’t the best for feeding it in and up the flue. I’d been betterOff Feeding it from the chimney down maybe. Plenty of length, light was decent, worked well with my iOS,

Rated for occasional hobbyist usage at $36 (sale)
The app is easy to install, at least on android. There's a durable QR code attached to the cable that takes you to the app-installation site on Google Play. Nice in case one deletes the app, or there are multiple users to consider. The app offers a switch for color vs black and white. Flipping between the two helps identify colored objects when light is too low for good color. The lighting is pretty good at about 6 inches away; brighter colors (e.g. white, bright blue, tan) can be seen from further distances like 12-18 inches, but all other things get lost in the dark, especially at the periphery. The side camera of the dual camera can help discover the camera's orientation. When using front-camera mode, the software allows rotation of the filming in 90-degree increments.Usage considerations outside of a pipe: You don't have much natural control of directing the cable after about 2 feet, but up to 2 feet has good control. After about 24 inches, the cable bends under its own weight. At 30 inches, an attempt to hold the cable upright fails, it bends for about 6 inches with the remaining 24 inches going horizontal. The cable will follow gravity after 2 feet, and when it hits the floor it will curl somewhere along the line so that when you push, the cable may simply bend in a random direction rather than push the camera forward. Of course, you can stiffen the cable by adding attaching hanger wire or the like. The manual states that the camera should not be used on hot engines, they should cool first.Minor things that didn't affect the review other than to assume this is for the hobbyist. The physical switch between the two cameras can be mildly annoying to deal with--if regularly used, one might simply set the phone down, or nano tape their phone to the wall to free up a hand. The cable comes unplugged from the phone from time to time as you would expect from a USB port. You'd probably tape that too if regularly used.
