My son is a dedicated gamer and used my account to purchase this NexiGo cooling fan for his PS5. He told me it works exactly as intended and helps keep the console cool during long gaming sessions. The blue LED lights are a nice touch and let you know the fan is running. He also liked that it was easy to install and didn’t require any extra cables. From what I’ve seen, it keeps his console running smoothly, so I’d say it was a good purchase.

This fan only fits the disk version of the ps5. My sons game was over heating when he played game like COD or Fornite (it was a used PS5) but with this fan it was able to stay on for at least an hour longer. There is low noise and the fans spin pretty fast. You can feel the air if you put you hand close enough. The lights add a nice look to the ps5. Durable if handle with care, can be broken if stepped on.

Looks great and works great. If you put you ps5 in rest mode the fan will not stop. If you turn off the ps5 the fan will stop.

Perfect fit, works just perfect, looks really good, it's not noisy, keeps the PS5 cool.

This works flawlessly, I really needed because my ps5 was making my room a heater lol this cooling fan definitely helps. The cooling fan has different speeds although I just use the highest speed being I usually play for 5-8 hours at a time. It fits perfectly on my PS5 slim as well and can plug in all my inputs with ease.

The fan effect looks cool, but it's definitely not quiet, and it doesn't cool down the PS5.I got this to help cool down the PS5 system, as the system fan was running a lot and very loud. This item was supposed to help cool down the PS5 and do it quietly. It does not. Now, all I hear is the system fan running loudly AND the 3 fans of this item running loudly as well. I have to use headphones because there's too much noise to hear the game's dialogue. Not worth the price.

*EDIT* Apparently they offer 2 versions, one for the PS5 and another for the PS5 Slim, whatever that is. I can't find the word "Slim" anywhere in the packaging for my PS5, so either I don't have a Slim version, or Sony just doesn't advertise it as "Slim". Regardless, the unit may be fine, but the sellers really need to make it clear which version of the PS5 each fan is for, and not just with the word "slim".I just got a disk version PS5 for Christmas for my family a few weeks ago. I decided to purchase this in order to keep it cool. The product description claims that it supports the disk version. Well, thank goodness I tried it before Christmas morning! The back of my PS5 doesn't match the diagrams in the instructions at all! The HDMI port in their diagrams is near the power plug. Where they say to plug the USB in is where my HDMI port actually is. Sony may have changed the design at some point? I don't know, but the bottom line is that this doesn't fit my PS5. Be aware, if your HDMI port is not down near your power cable, this product will not work on your console!
