Works Perfectly!
Just remember to pair the remote with your TV! I have a Samsung TV with this remote but it has the rechargeable batter and solar screen. I loved the concept and it worked great for 1 year until it didn't. I'm happy to find this remote as it is identical except it has replaceable batters. Samsung should have just used this style to begin with.

Connected immediately
Item didn't come with instruction (available online and in the listing), but didn't need it. The remote immediately connected to the TV and works perfectly.

don't buy this
I called Samsung man couldn't help me. (We talked over 30 minutes) I ask if he could send me a manual. NO was the answer. He was going to e-mail the site for manual. I got two e-mails. neither one was the wright one. He blow we off. I have several Samsung products and never had a problem like this.Don't think I will be buying anything else either.

Not an exact replacement!
So, if like me, your Samsung remote started misbehaving, you'll be looking for a replacement. This will work, but lacks in two areas.First, the voice recognition is non-existant. The little red light comes on, but nothing happens on the TV. You'll have to do your searches with the annoying click to keypads.Second, it is not rechargable, and does not have a solar panel. It takes two AAA batteries.

Works Great
I purchased a Frame Tv but it did not come with the remote control. This ones paired nicely and was easy to connect to the tv.

Not so easy to pair
It would be great to get it to work. The solar model is not so easy to fully charge by sunlight unless you take it to the beach or your outside space and get full sunlight.

Pro & Con
The media could not be loaded. Con: For me, it was very difficult to open the back compartment to install the batteries (requires two AAA batteries- not included). I watched the video on the product page several times to open the remote- didn’t work. I had to insert a plastic card between the seam & pushed that card along from the top to the bottom. With a little force, the bottom part (arrow) popped open.2. Pro: I pointed the remote close to the tv, press the red power button, and the remote automatically paired with the tv. On a side note, I wasn’t sure how old my Samsung smart tv is, but I was very happy it paired easily.3. For volume control, the switch needs to pushed up or down. I find this feature better than the older remote.4. Because of the age of my TV, the voice feature does not work. My TV is not set up for voice control.Overall, I am keeping this remote. The ease of maneuvering outweighs the pain of opening it. Plus the price is good.
