Awesome powerful streamer
The DMP A6 ME is a fantastic streamer DAC. It is feature rich and provides flexible usage - either as a pure streamer for digital; or a DAC - directly playing to an AMP or via a preamp, etc. It has good build quality. The hardware is powerful with no lag. I had about 1 TB of music which it indexed in less than 15 minutes (it took more than 24 hours in an Ifi Zen stream which is much lower priced, I know). The screen is bright and there is no lag. The software just works - either via Wifi or via LAN. We can sideload Apple music and latest firmware provides an inbuilt ("only" 16 bit/44 Khz) Apple music streaming option too.The sound quality is top notch and it has EQ function which can help you tweak it to your preferences too.My only grouse is, it doesn't have a sub out - but if you really need it, you can send RCA to most active sub-woofers and let it play.If you are looking for a high quality streamer, this one would fit.I bought this an year ago and loving it. Using it with an external Pre-Amp (Schitt) and Marantz Power Amp.
