The old random usb b to c cable I used to connect my DAC and laptop somehow died and I needed a new one, preferably of better quality, or even 'hifi quality'. But with most hifi accessories, cables in particular, the prices tend to be ridiculous. So when I came across this SKW cable, they looked decent and well built, and the price was very much reasonable, I decided to give it a shot. It certainly didn't disappoint. Very nice cable, sturdy, quality materials, well protected packaging, just get it if you're shopping for one.

this is a good USB C to B cable for audio use. i use it to connect my phone to my amplifier to play music. no static pops which i've experienced when i tried using cheaper quality cables for such use. a bit expensive, but it gets the job done.

This cable is thicker than many XLR cables I have! It's super beefy! Let's dispel a couple of urban legends though. The build quality of this cable (or any cable for that matter) has ZERO impact on the sound of your digital audio devices! If you're looking at this cable thinking that your tracks will sound better coming through it vs the $10 cables, it's a myth. Digital is digital, it either makes it to the other end of the cable in tact or it doesn't. What a cable like this does help with is durability. I gig a lot with my laptop and a couple of different sound cards and having a good high quality cable that will last is worth it to me. If you're in a studio and your computer or sound card are stationary and you don't have to send a USB cable past a tesla coil, the less expensive cables will work absolutely fine. If, however, you're like me and you do a lot of gigs with a laptop and sound card, this cable is going to probably outlive everything you plug it into.

I really wanted to like this cable. It looks and feels great. Also priced very well for a supposed audiophile cable.But it was not to be.The sound is very metallic. Thin, shouty vocals, piercing highs. Poor bass detail. Poor dynamics.I compared it to an amazon basics cable, and the basics cable was better in every way. For this price, if you want a good audiophile cable, go with Wireworld cables. Compared the Chroma 8 to this and it was not even a contest.They obviously have some very good marketing, but don't be fooled. This is just a poor quality cable dressed up to look and feel nice.I would use it to charge my ipad and do some printing, but thats about it.Signal chain; Tidal high res —> ipad pro —> Marantz hd amp1 —>audio quest speaker cables —> dynaudio emit 20’s.

I bought this cable for the times I wanted to use my iPad to stream through my home DAC and not deal with with laptop. The sound is fine when I stream. The cable seems sturdy enough and has a nice appearance.Unfortunately, as you can see, on the USB end, the cap covering the the end has come loose and falls of. While this may not directly effect the cables performance, that such a simple thing could be overlooked, does concern me about durability going forward. It's unfortunate as I have will have to factor that into my consideration when purchasing additional cables

Good well made cable but not for my system. A little too energetic but then that's just me. You may love it.

I’m very impressed with this cable, the quality of the thick braided cord and plugs are equal too, or better than products that are much more expensive. As for sound quality, that’s subjective, but I definitely feel it’s better than the cheap options.

Using this cable for streaming use from a tablet or music player appears to have helped remove sibilance and give a more balanced sound than the standard thin cable I had previously. Happy with the purchase, hope it lasts
