Amazing floor mattress
Best floor mattress ever, I used to sleep in a sleeping bag like in 2015 and I wish I had found this product at this time. Its comfortable and provides great support.

The whole family loves it!
I got this as a floor cushion for my baby and it has been really great! It’s covering the concrete floor on our enclosed porch, and she can fall directly in it with no ill effect. It’s also quite comfortable for laying on for the adults, too. We’ve been using a steam cleaner on it, and it comes clean very easily. Our very old cat loves it too.

Comfortable, easy clean, soft
I love this! I originally bought it for my 8 year old son because at the time we had a new bed set coming in and we had thrown out his old one, but his new bed set came in a few days later from the set delivery date, so we bought this temporary and he loved it. It was comfortable for him and enough for easy storage when his bed set came in which that didn’t happen because my husband and I placed it on our mattress and it made it way more comfortable. It’s an easy clean, I spot clean some areas and then vacuum the rest of it. Storage is also fine; it has a tie and can fit perfect in a storage bench for the feet of the bed.

Finally a perfect mattress!!!
It was perfect mattress to sleep for our parents who visited us from Central Asia. They cannot stand soft mattresses, so it was a treasure to find. We also co-slept with our 4 month old a few times and it gave great support both for our baby and us. We love the design, quality and the ease of storage and using. Because its cover is organic cotton, we also used it as a playmat and our baby was happy. Would recommend a 100%!!!

If you're expecting a traditional Futon then don't buy this.
It's okay, and it works fine as a guest bed when unexpected guests come over, but otherwise, this is not a type of futon that Japanese authentically use, it's not very padded, the description says the thickness is 2 inches, but it quickly flattens when used, its not something you'd want to use permanently. It is comfy though and can help keep you warm during cold nights, also better than just sleeping on the floor.Pros: comfy, easy to fold, easy to carry, nice quality, compact, overpriced.Cons: not very padded, basically you still feel the floor underneath you, doesn't actually provide any additional support, it's basically no better than a sleeping bag with a blanket over it (seriously) honestly not worth the price, I got this on special and with a coupon for 80$ so I can't complain too much, but just go to big 5 and get a sleeping bag it'll probabaly cost a lot less and at least you can test it out before easily returning it, still debating wether i want to keep this thing, it just isn't firm at all. the same as stacking 3 thick blankets together, nothing special.

Great for the price
It’s actually much more comfortable than I was anticipating. I got the queen size and tested it out on it one night. I ended up folding it in half for extra cushion, and I was perfectly comfortable for the whole night. That said, I have it laid on top of carpet, which definitely helps with the comfort. Don’t expect it to be able to fit back into the bag it comes in, but the attached ties are really helpful for keeping it rolled up. If I were looking to get a futon to replace a western bed, this might be a little too thin to start, but as a mattress topper for pull out sofa, or even on its own for a kids sleepover, this is a great product.

Lacking quality, did not meet expectations.
I ordered the 4 inch twin version and was very excited to receive it, looking to potentially use it as a place to sleep but mostly to have a comfortable place to sit and relax on the floor and to take it on travels.First, the item arrived separated and in vacuum sealed bags. Once I assembled it (took less than 2 minutes to get it all zipped in) I gave it 48 hours to decompress from the vacuum seal.Pros: easy to put together, seems like it would be easy to clean when needed. No weird smells. It also rolls up to a decent size to fit in a trunk.I wouldn’t say the fabrics is soft BUT it is comfortable. The color was accurate to the photo.Cons: it is very lumpy in spots and does not seem to have completely decompressed. Some parts of the inner eggcrate foam are still noticeably really thin. I’ve tried shaking it out over the last 2 days but there are some stubborn spots that aren’t bouncing back.Additionally I’m not sure if there was a mix up and if I’ve actually received the 4 inch version or not. Some parts of the mattress are *almost* 4 inches thick after shaking it out and fluffing it up juuuust right, and some parts are definitely only 2 inches thick which I think is mostly due to the outermost layers. You can see that the outer shell sags around the inner foam, the inner foam is not filling it out and it looks a bit sad compared to the advertised photos. I’m going to let it sit out for a few more days to see if it will “inflate” more but I’m inclined to think it’s at its limit.Disclaimer - I also opted to receive a “used” option (new but out of box) so I wonder if the inner foam was swapped at some point. All in all, I do think this is alright in a pinch for travels. I also think it beats a hard floor to sit on at least. Bottom line - unless I got a defective one the quality is definitely not good enough to be used to sleep on every night. Did not meet expectations or match advertised photos.
