Today I wore the TOZO T21 for the first time. They are different in that they don’t have the rubber tip to seal your ear canal for fit and sound. The part in your ear is a matte finish that perhaps make them stay put? The sound is loud and clear. They are definitely not noise canceling. I’m on a zoom call in a coffee shop and I am really missing the ANC option! I am hearing the voices clearly but I just want to shut out all the noise around me. The post on the T21 doesn’t have any sound or control functions but are handles to move the buds to a comfortable position in your ears. The head of the bud on the outside is where all the controls take place. The EQ TOZO app lets you view info about your buds and selecting different settings there allows you to find the perfect balance for different scenarios, podcasts, music, movies, or custom. Love the app! I wore these in the rain today as well, while doing an easy run this morning They felt secure, but I’d probably get an earhook for them for serious runs or heavy workouts, I felt like they could fall out potentially, but they weee secure for my easy run. The rain did not effect them until I pulled my hair back and the water was able to cause the volume go up and up and up! I had to get the phone out to lower the volume as my hands were wet and seemed not to work to tap the left ear bud. So probably waterproof, but sensitive to it on the touchpad area. I’ll have to make a phone call to test out the call noise canceling feature. I’d say these are comfortable, quality earbuds for a great price. For me, I will go for the ANC models in the future. These really seem good for times you need to be aware of sounds around you, such as running outdoors or walking in stores or around town. Love TOZOS no matter what! Oh, and the case charges wirelessly!

For my first foray into true wireless earbuds, these were the third iteration I tried (second TOZO model) and I’m incredibly happy to say I’m done! These are exactly what I was looking for! The first pair of TOZO brand earbuds were noise cancelling but had to be inserted deeper into your ear and I’ve decided that style just doesn’t play nice with my ear structure. I really liked the app capability that TOZO offers so I ended up with these Tonal Fits since they rest in your ear similar to AirPod headphones.The sound on these is amazing! I’ve been honestly blown away by how quality the sound is. The app allows you to use custom or preset equalizers so I can listen to Foo Fighters with the Rock setting or Lord of the Rings soundtracks with the Symphony setting (just to name a few).Pairing was quick and painless.The size of the earbuds and case hit the Goldilocks standard for me (not too big, not too small). I like the digital display on the case for both the case and the ear buds and so far, the battery life has been plenty sufficient. The earbuds also come out and go into the case easily.Work calls came through clear and folks on the other end had no issue hearing me.I’m not sure about them staying put during exercise or activity but frankly nothing stays put in my ear when I’m exercising unless it has a hook on it. I may try them out but it wasn’t what I bought them for so I didn’t want to take points off for that.**Battery/Charge Update - One little bummer was that my ear buds did not come with a charge so I had to plug them in for a little before I could actually test them out. This could have just been mine so it's a minor quibble, but maybe expect a bit of charging before you can use them out of the box. After 2 weeks of consistent use during work (longest single-use session has been maybe 3ish hours), these ear buds have been fantastic. I have yet to feel like the battery level of the earbuds got low during my usage. I let the case charge get down to 17% before charging and it took about an hour to charge back up to 100%. Very impressed with the battery life so far.To sum up, if these things are on sale and you’re like me that struggles to keep earbuds in your ear even when you’re just sitting around, get these! Everything from the packaging to the final product is quality. I’ll definitely be coming back to TOZO for my next audio purchase!

Overall:I purchased the Matte Black T21 Tonal Fits. Highly recommend for the price and would buy again. I have purchased several TOZO products and think they offer great products at reasonable prices.Pros:- Comfortable fit. Earbuds are on the large size but feel secure in the ear. Might feel a touch of discomfort when initially trying them out due to the large size but it went away for me after a day or two. *Note: Make sure you rotate the stem that hangs down so that it is forward of vertical. This makes a better fit and significantly improves overall sound and bass response (this is addressed in the manual).- Great sound. *Note: To achieve the best sound out of these earbuds, you MUST download the TOZO app on your smartphone so you can adjust the EQ of the earbuds. You technically don’t have to use the app, but it’s well worth it and the app is free (you don’t even have to create a TOZO account if you don’t want). Out of the box, these earbuds sound OK but nothing special. The bass is weak and woofy and the mids are too pronounced and muddy. Download the app to create a custom EQ preset that you can save and will be applied to your earbuds. The preset is set-and-forget…you don’t have to set it every time you take the earbuds out of the case. I created a custom EQ preset (see photos) that matched my studio monitor headphones as closely as I could get it with the limited ability to adjust the EQ in the TOZO app. The earbuds sound SO much better now. (and if anyone is interested I achieve a Flat Frequency Response in my studio monitor headphones by using the SonarWorks SoundID Reference app I purchased for my computer. This app calibrates studio monitor headphones to achieve as flat of a frequency response as possible so your headphone audio isn’t colored unnecessarily by the design of the headphones). If you don’t want to create a custom EQ preset in the TOZO app, then the Classical or R&B presets are the closest you will get to the custom preset I created.- Nice design. Overall, the earbuds are a good build quality. Nothing screams very fancy or very cheap. Both the earbuds and the case have a mostly Matte Black finish. The case display is crystal clear…no clue how long the battery life readouts will last though before it stops working.Cons:- Size. As mentioned above, the earbuds are fairly large especially compared to Apple earbuds. These will likely not be comfortable for small ears.- App. The app itself is great so far (I have an iPhone). Very clean and easy to navigate. BUT, the App is absolutely necessary to get the best sound out of these earbuds. Out of the box these earbuds don’t sound anything special. Hopefully TOZO supports the app for a long-time. If they don’t, then you will be stuck with mediocre-sounding earbuds out of the box. If you are looking for TOZO earbuds that sound as close to a flat frequency response as you are probably going to get out of cheap earbuds, then buy the TOZO T20's. After comparing the T20's against my studio monitor headphones (using SonarWorks SoundID Reference app), I decided to leave the T20's on the Standard EQ preset in the TOZO app. Do note that the T20's use the silicone earpieces.- Charging cable is short. Less than 1ft long. Not so much a con…just something to note. To be fair, the cable can only be so big and still fit in the small product packaging.
