Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ausum cutting and easy to clean

I will be honest, I only bought this mandoline slicer to make homemade potato chips, but I could definitely see myself using this for other things like when I'm fermenting veggies. The blade itself is EXTREMELY sharp, so I am very happy they included gloves. The gloves are awesome! I don't have to be super fearful of slicing a big chunk of skin off. It's quite compact too, as the leg folds up and under. I like that I can slide this into my cabinet and it's always out of the way. I highly recommend.

Love this! So easy to use. Perfect slices Everytime. Easy cleaning

This slicer is very difficult to use. I bought it to slice apples and it was a huge struggle for it to do that. The blade would bend and the apple would get stuck. I tried it over and over. If I got the apple sliced then when it got down to the last slice the slider thing would hang up and the pins would hit the blade. Or...it would slice the plastic around the slider. Sadly, it was beyond return time before I was able to try it and I had to throw it in the trash.

I bought this to replace one of those plastic kinds that come with a bazillion little blades you have to keep track of. This thing is ingenious in its construction. No parts to lose. Sharp AF! (Please wear the no-cut glove while using. I learned the hard way.) Makes beautiful, even slices. Very easy to store. A little more expensive than the plastic jobs, but well worth it.

While I was looking and rotating in my hands to determine the best way to use product, it slipped out of my hand. I quickly reached out and caught it before it hit the ground. I got a deep slice in three of my fingers. So, now when I use it I am far more careful than I would normally be.It does work well though. Slice thickness is adjustable. It takes some practice to get used to the slicing action.

Very sharp but to big for storing

This is a great upgrade for my mandoline slicer game. It is an upgrade to the one I got decades ago. I love the stainless steel parts and the convenience of slicing sizes and cleaning ease. It was really worth replacing an old trusted mandoline with this new one.
