Ashley Furniture Signature Design - Trinell Queen Panel Headboard - Component Piece - Brown

This is really great and better than I expected. I was concerned after reading some of other reviews, so I'll give you my input. First of all, it's a very heavy piece of furniture. It is wood veneer overlay, but it looks really good, not cheap. All of our other furniture is really nice, so I was a bit concerned about the quality. This is perfect for our son's room. I also like (because it's veneer) that it is smooth--which I think is great for kids. It doesn't seem as high as some of the marketing pictures. I had hoped that it would be at least 58 inches as noted on some websites, but it is actually just under 54 inches high. I also planned on trying to raise it, but wasn't able to do that because the there would have been an opening behind the pillows. Anyway, it's rustic looking and I think it's great for a boy's room. My husband did have to go to the hardware for some different bolts, but that wasn't a big deal. I just ordered the 5 drawer chest to match. Obviously these aren't heirloom quality pieces, but they will be fun for now. The price is great compared to other things I was looking out--and all along I liked the look of this collection the best.

I had a hard time finding just the right look and since I couldn't fit something this large in my vehicle, delivery fees from a furniture store would have dissuaded me from buying this. Amazon's free delivery right to my door made this a great value. The assembly was easy and the headboard was SO much sturdier than expected. It's really a beautiful piece and I'm impressed with the quality, price, look and delivery.

I am an Ashley fan, but they are making it harder for me to stay one. I love the Signature line because it's rustic and industrial. That said, the headboard, through sturdy, isn't real wood. For the price, I assumed it would be. The finish is vaneer. The head board is just a bit to narrow for the holes to line up with the bed frame. So, I can't attach it the bed frame. The headboard didn't come with the bolts to attach it to a bedframe.

Really awesome for the price. It is not real wood but it looks it. It is quite sturdy. We had trouble attaching it to the frame that we already had so we screwed it in to the wall. Everyone who has seen it, loves it.

This item is cheap because it is cheap quality! I can’t believe it sells in stores for more than this! It looks like MDF/particle board with a laminate of some sort that “looks” like wood. So thankfully, it actually looks pretty once it’s up, but don’t look and feel too closely! We actually haven’t attached it to the frame we had because it didn’t come with any screws to attach but that’s ok because our mattress is tall enough to hold it against the wall. So my issues: 1. It came damaged, box beat to heck and back. Thankfully the part that was chipped is where the mattress covers so I’m not worried about it, we needed it up for guests and didn’t want to fool with returning. 2. When actually putting it up in the room we Had it laying on the bed and as we slid it across to pick up one of the side rails just came apart. Again, it’s particle board so I’m sure it was just glued together in production and with one slight pull the glue came apart. We pressed it back square and will have to get some wood glue to put it back together and make it hold. All in all, it works for our guest room because we rarely have guests. But this is def a cheap cheap piece of furniture and I would not recommend for a master or child’s bedroom!
