It works much better than ones like the Wondom interface, which you have to continually disconnect from your target circuit or else it won't complete USB device discovery correctly with the PC. This adapter doesn't have that problem. This one works flawlessly with the Sigma DSP IDE. And while I haven't fully evaluated uses outside of Sigma DSP, I think you can use this for other connection needs where a I2C/SPI type interface is needed, making it more generic than the obvious use-case.
