This Q4 Tube (Model No. FTQ4) arrives well packed in a plain looking, Newer branded, cardboard box.It is important to note that this Q4 tube is a replacement flash tube for Neewer’s Q4 400Ws 2.4G TTL flash strobe light only, so can not be used in any other strobe light.There’s not too much to say about the tube other than it is easy to fit and remove, and performs exactly the same as the original tube it replaces.I must admit I thought the price might be a little on the high side, but checking around, the price is similar to replacement tubes sold by other manufacturers for their 400W strobes, such as Godox.In conclusion, if you own a Neewer’s Q4 400Ws 2.4G TTL flash strobe light, then this a great replacement tube to either use, or have as a spare just in case.~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product and asked that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. I picked up the NEEWER Q4 Flash Tube 400W Replacement to be used just for its intended purpose. I have a NEEWER Q4 Studio Flash and if anything were to happen to the bulb I definitely want the best replacement.Overall, if you have a NEEWER Q4 Studio Flash, well look no further than this replacement bulb!

This is an OEM product that IMO is a necessary backup for most. The design of the Q4 leaves your bulb exposed once the reflector is removed. In my experience, accidents happen when you are the least prepared. I know as long as I know that I have a replacement bulb, I can safeguard myself in case the worst case scenario occurs during a shoot. This bulb works just as it should and being that it’s an OEM item, you can expect the same performance and quality as the one that came with your Q4.

No issues with using it with the Q4 flash.

I've been dealing with flash tubes for around 30 years. While I've seen them just "go" and explode, you are more likely to lose one to a light falling over. It's cheap insurance to have a spare. This one is top quality. Many I've seen over the years do not have an envelope of glass, so now you have to handle them oh so gently and wear cotton gloves. Not so with this. Also, if the tube does explode, it will be largely contained. The glass is mounted very solid with no suggestion it will come loose. Lastly, they pack it extremely well. You could probably drop this off a tall building in the box and just pick it up and use it.
