ARIAT Darlin, Women's Western Boot

I was a bit skeptical when I read reviews that complained about the boot being narrow. Well, I have come to understand that it takes time to judge the width of a boot, because the leather needs time to adjust to your foot. These things don't come pre-stretched, ladies! I have been wearing them for two weeks now with thin socks and they fit amazingly well. Also, these booties look really sharp with a jean skirt or blue jeans. Yes, I recommend these boots. The fit is true to size, given the proper time as I said before.

So super bummed - I had my eye on these boots for the longest time, and even though ariat is a well known and trusted brand, I just couldn’t pull the trigger when they were $150. So when I saw them on sale I jumped and was oh so happy! Well, I’ve only worn these boots twice for a total of 3 hoursish and obviously I wasn’t walking around that whole time at all - so minimally that the tread is still in perfect condition - and when i took them off last night I saw that the outside of the side of one is peeling off!!! Does that mean it’s not real leather?? I don’t know but because of jumping on It and then only wearing them for these special occasions I’m way outside the return window. I’m seriously disappointed and feel like they must not be real ariats?? I’m going to contact ariat and see if there’s anything they can do or any suggestions they have because I still dropped $100 on these boots and there’s absolutely no reason they should betray me this way ... why, boots, whyyyy? I bought size 8.5 in red. The boots look and feel well made, outside and inside, the leather is soft enough. I bought them for ankle support after an ankle fracture. And they'll do the support job... As for the size: I have enough room at the toe; the width could be a little more, ie I cannot wear real thick socks which I had hoped for. I wore them in the house for a few days so they could stretch a little. Have worn them outside twice now and they are comfortable. Can safely recommend them; maybe order larger size, depending.

Love the toe. Not too rounded or pointy. The v in front makes them so comfy! Great color!

The quality is excellent—sturdy leather, well-made stitching, and they feel like they’ll last a long time. They were comfortable right out of the box and look even better in person. Perfect for work or casual wear. Highly recommend!
