Beautiful, well made, very useful
Beautiful, sturdy, well designed spoon. It’s so nice to have a working implement designed for us lefties. It is also very comfortable to hold, so extended periods of stirring a dense stew are not so cramping. I look forward to a long time enjoying this item.

Buy Two - Trust me!
WOW!!! What an awesome utensil. An excellent design. The absolute prefect spoon. Has the right length, thickness, sturdiness, and weight. Not just great to scoop from a jar, but will mix ingredients in a pan or pot well too. Just the right amount of taper to the edges and depth and length to the well or cup. The correct width to mix, stir and serve. I'n buying extras for both use and to have as spares down the road. Seriously, this spoon rocks! Just be sure to preseason and maintain it with Boos oil or mineral oil. It will darken the grain and give it a silky smooth finish -- gorgeous.

Nice, Love Them
I bought the Cooking Spoon and the Right Handed Corner Spoon together. These things are huge. Going to take a little getting used to. But so far, I'm in love. I knew from the Specs in the description. These spoons were going to be larger than the ones I've been cooking with and bought these to replace. But, it's one of those things. Where you just can't wrap your head around the difference in size. Until you actually have them in your hands. Hopefully you can grasp the size difference from the picture. I love the fact that they're made from Teakwood. Which has natural oils and resins to protect them from drying out then cracking or splitting. With proper care, these should turn into Family Heirlooms. To increase the chances of doing so. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions. Washed them thoroughly with warm mild-soapy water. Toweled them dry then laid them out to finish air drying completely. After which, I applied a light coat of Mineral Oil. Then just as I do with my Teakwood Cutting Boards. After an hour or so. I came back to see if they had absorbed the Mineral Oil. Which they had, so I applied another light coat. This time after an hour they hadn't fully absorbed the Mineral Oil. So I let them sit overnight. The next morning there was just the slightest hint of Mineral Oil showing. So, I knew they didn't need any more oiling. I then wiped them down to remove he excess oil and buffed them to a nice smooth sheen. They are gorgeous, another thing I like about Teakwood. The grain patterns are beautiful and only get more so, with age and repeated treatments of Mineral Oil... when needed. Which with my Teakwood Cutting Boards. Is much less often than my Bamboo or Maple Cutting/Serving boards. I don't know what other reviewers were doing with, or to their spoons. To cause them to become chipped or cracked. But for me, so far - so good. No signs of chipping or cracking. Though still getting used to their larger size. I really enjoy cooking with these spoons.

Nice spoon
Good size and shape to the bowl of the spoon. The teakwood seems to be holding up so far better than some other wooden spoons I’ve had. The handle is a nice comfortable shape as well

Fantastic, durable teak utensils
These utensils are awesome! It was tough finding quality teak spoons. I'm glad I gave these a shot. They've held up great after a year or so of frequent/constant use. I included a recent picture. The rice and slotted spoon are about ready for more mineral oil and the spoon spatula recently got another coat of mineral oil. A maintenance note...If the wood grain rises after the first or second time you wash them, just wait until they dry and lightly sand them with fine grit sandpaper (200 or so). Apply mineral oil after that.

Very sturdy heavy Teak
It was not a flimsy, thin spoon. It looks like it was made to take a lot of heat. I felt that the heal of the spoon should have been made a little thinner. Looks good. After washing, I recommend coating it with a coat of cooking oil. My preference is Grapeseed oil

Beautiful and High Quality
This is my new favorite spoon. I’ve had just the cheep bamboo ones in the past but they break so easily and don’t have any heft to them so I wanted something more sturdy and pretty. This spoon is very well made and has just the right weight and feel in my hand. I used to have a spoon and a flat spatula but this replaced both as it has a flat edge but also a hollow for scooping. The wood was sanded smooth and I oiled it before I used it so that it wouldn’t get that rough feel from the wood fibers absorbing water. Every one is unique because this is real wood and mine had plenty of beautiful lines and swirls than give the piece character. I will be adding more utensils from this maker to my collection soon. A perfect hand crafted piece for an unbelievable price.
