JETech Slim Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, Black

Exactly what I wanted! I thought this would be a thick hard case with a tempered glass front - but it's not and I'm thrilled! It's a phone case that covers the back and sides - nothing covers or obscures the original screen. This is a one-piece black rubber shell that covers the phone's back and sides. Appropriate buttons are installed that press on the phone's buttons; appropriate holes for headphones, camera, charger etc. Tool about 30 seconds to slip on (like putting a glove on my hand; this is a glove for my phone) and it fits perfectly, works great. Barely know it's there but it does make the phone a bit less slippery, harder to drop. I have an S9+; be sure to order the exact model for your phone. The back of my phone is detaching from the front - this case holds them together perfectly. For its protection I usually carry my phone in the checks pocket (remember checks? 😆) of my checkbook-size old wallet. I like doing this, didn't want a case that'd turn my phone into a huge brick. This case adds about one (1) millimeter to all four sides, the same thickness on the back. So my phone still fits perfectly in my wallet. No, this case isn't an A-bomb proof hard case, but it's perfect for what I need. Five stars! Happy Jim!

Hello , I am self employed in Everything Tech and run multiple platforms for custom builds, reviews, mods, writing code , development of software, product reviews the list goes on.ANYWAY , my current clear/yellowing silicone(TPU) case was just unappealing...I have a lifeproof, & multiple cases sent to me free but I like minimal. This was a steal, I was NOT going to pay alot (again I gave no less that 12 cases for this phone in particular) .It showed up earlier than its tracking indicated, it's just as thin as the silicone but MUCH more durable, it indeed does have a raise lip and bezzles as advertised (1.5mm) which to my surprise works well as I've dropped the phone at least 7 times since I got the case with zero issues. It's a great case for the price you truly cant beat it. OH!, PRO TIP: PLEASE!.....to the few reviews I've seen leaving bad reviews or pictures that their glass broke let's take some accountability(no disrespect) , but please put this into perspective you are buying a minimalistic case, if you want 10ft drop protection case or a heavier waterproof rating get a otterbox, lifeproof BUT with these minimalistic cases the simple solution is get a 3 pack TEMPERED GLASS screen protectors for $6 and you will NEVER break your screen I have multiple iPhones & androids and purposely as buses them & put them through the ringer for video reviews , out of 7 drops , again keep in mind I just got this case a few days ago and as careful as I am with electronics I can be accident prone. That said I literally got a truly very small hairline crack in my TEMPERED GLASS screen protector after I dropped my S9+ down a flight of 12 concrete stairs(which wss NOT for video purposes) and the case did its job not a scratch on the phone or a scratch on the case for that matter but if you buy the cheap film screen protectors I PROMISE, you are asking for trouble. I'm in the process of editing my video review of this case for my channel, and I bought it noone a sd keep or approached me , I was genuinely impressed. Whoever's is interested in tech , honest reviews, no BS, can reach out and check out all that I do as I cant list it here. THE BOTTIM LINE ON THIS PRODUCT:::: Its a buy. It is very rare you get a great $4 sleek strong case , NOW dont cheap out as nd either get film or dont use a screen protector , dont be cheap great deal on the case soend $4/5 more for that TAMPERED glass protector 3 pack and your golden, it's just that simple . I'll give it to you straight, no feelings here wether customers or sellers, this is a honest review and just business ;) You spend YOUR $ , THEY should earn it . They did . I was looking for a case similar to the one I used on my Galaxy s7 before upgrading to my current Galaxy s9+ and this JETech Case seems to fit the bill. It fits my Samsung Galaxy s9 plus perfectly and is very slim. I like the material it is made of in that it offers a good grip and will protect the glass on the back and aluminum on the sides of the phone from any occasional bumps. However, I do not think this case is going to protect the phone from some higher drops onto hard surfaces although I could be wrong and it depends on the angle at which it might land on a drop. The one thing that I would have liked is for the front lips to be slightly higher. It appears that the top and bottom lip might be slightly raised, but the side lips seem to be even with the glass phone screen which could perhaps increase a possibility for screen damage in certain situations. My previous case had approximately a 1mm lip around the entire front which offered some protection and also lifted the screen off any surface it was laid down on. However, with the s9+ screen to the edge of the phone, I can understand why the design of this case might have the lower lip. Overall, this is a very nice case at a great price point and I would recommend it unless you are the type who tends to drop your phone or not treat it well.

This is a simple but great case! I have a samsung Galaxy S9 plus phone. I always bought otterbox type cases where they had a front piece and a built in screen protector but they always collected dust inside of them through any open ports which would scratch the phone up inside the case. This isn't the heftiest case but that's exactly what i like about it most. I have dropped my phone right on the face of it from at least 4 feet and it's fine. Took a few hits on the corners as it tumbled and not a scratch. I put one of those heavey duty water application type screen protectors on my phone with this case and it's fine. It Totally protected my phone and screen. It's plenty durable and sturdy. I like how it is very slim too. And i have no problems charging my phone on my QI wireless charging dock while the case is on. So im done with those thick heavy industrial cases. They are too expensive and like i said, they collect a whole bunch of crud inside them. This one doesn't. It's easy on and easy off. And it was cheap and it looks good too. It totally protects my phone just fine.

The product fit my S9+ perfectly I am will pleased.

My old cover right side button popped out and was lost so I needed a new cover. The old cover was two parts - a screen cover and then the back cover. This one is nice but has no screen cover. I really don't like covers but I drop my phone often on a concrete floor and my old cover always protected it. I'm sure if it falls on the back that this one will be fine. However, I don't have much hop if it falls on the front.
