Electric Knife Sharpener, Red, 8.25-Inch -

I should have taken both before and after pictures. I was afraid to try this because of a past experience. This is easy to use and does a fantastic job in sharpening knives. The knife i started with is over 50 years old and has not been used in over 40 years. I The knife is now able to be used again and the Edgekeeper Sharpner now has a prominent place on my kitchen counter so I csn use it whenever I needThank you!

Oh my gosh, I love this. I have been so sick of dull knives... ugh! This sharpener is so pretty on my counter. I also have. Red Kitchen Aid mixer beside it. Sharpening is so easy and makes such a difference. Directions are clear and I use it a lot.

It really made my old knives sharp and useable again. I'm happy with this purchase. I didn't have any problems putting the knife through as I had read other reviews and just lightly put the knife in until contact and then pulled it thru. I exert any pressure on the knife and it was easy. I had a couple of manual knife sharpener which didn't work at all so in the trash they went.

This sharpener works as well as more expensive models that I've owned. I bought it as a house gift for a friend whose kitchen drawers held a dozen knives that hadn't been sharpened in years. This was odd, because my host loves to cook and throws dinner parties all the time. I sharpened all of her knives with Edgekeeper when she was out of the house, but she noticed the difference right away after slicing into a tomato. Having dull knives is like wearing glasses with a perpetual smudge on them: it's negligent and unnecessary.

We have had this sharpener for several years and it works superbly. Very pleased with this purchase!

Sharpens the knife but not super sharp. A wet stone works better if you have the time.

This does a great job for the price. You just need to remember it is for straight blades only. It does not work on serrated edges or ceramic knives.

I've used it a few times and I like how easy it is to sharpen knives. The only con I have to mention is that the metal shavings don't all get collected underneath inside. Some come outside when it's being used. But otherwise it was well worth the money. Just take your time and you'll have knives sharp enough to make O. J. Proud.
